New 2012...
CRV EX-L in white diamond pearl with beige interior, navigation package.
First off, I set out in Atlanta to get this:

They wouldn't budge on the price so I walked. Unable to find another Certified pre-owned that struck me the way that IS F did, I decided to pick something up for the wife.
This is the first brand new vehicle I've ever purchased. We traded in a 2003 CRV that took me and my wife all over the country and various road trips through our relationship from just dating and her visiting during my internship in Houston, TX with Energy Solutions INC, Proposing on the water front on St. Patricks day in Chicago, Winter breaks in Camp Hill PA, Road trips to Myrtle Beach, Ormond Beach, Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh, and it even drove us away the day of our wedding. It was a special vehicle for both of us and it was sad to let it go. Enough sappy stuff though, here is the new ride.

not really good at inserting the photos so hopefully flickr isn't blocked where ever you may be.

We were torn between the white diamond pearl and urban titanium. Convinced here that this was a better choice even though it will require a little more maintenance to keep clean. Car washing doesn't bother me, especially on a nice day.
Thanks, worked hard for it.
CRV for CTS-V...test drive for test drive?
Thanks, I work for progress energy of the carolinas. Great company, minimal (-ish) stress, ridiculous pay for the area.
Thank you, trying to get the rain guards and tinted windows, might also look into getting some nice ron jon wheels. We will see, it's "her" vehicle so any mod has to go through her unless I can ninja it in.
Thank you, I truly enjoy it as much as you can imagine for a 4-banger SUV.
The CRV feels very light on its feet compared to our 03' and with the eco mode on in the city we are averaging about 24 mpg, which is 1 mpg more than our 03' did on the highway. Nothing to complain about. We also paid a little extra for an 8 yr/120k mile bumper to bumper warranty, plus lifetime drive train warranty. I think this will be good while we still don't have kids and even eventually when we decide to have some (hopefully after my toy car
)
Thanks again, if anyone is in the market for a smaller 4cyl SUV, it really does give a mid level of luxury and pretty much everything you need. If you want tire spinning performance or MB/BMW luxury, look elsewhere. But for 23,300 can you really complain? (after trade)

OP, very OT, but I used to work for JPMorgans investment bank, more specifically within their commodities trading division...used to deal with most of the energy companies in the country (including Progress)....its a very interesting field, and can be quite lucrative especially in different parts of the country. Odd, I seem to run in to folks randomly who worked in the segment (last time, it was at a blackjack table at the wynn in vegas lol)....Congrats on the new car again..
