Bob! Glad to see you keep enjoying the V! And I like the fact that you drive it during winter, people thought I was crazy when I drove the M5.
for the wagon.

I'm still jealous...
I have a customer I've been working all week, he currently has a CLK55 AMG and is looking to get an extra car "for one of his other houses", I priced out an E550 4Matic, CTS 3.6 Premium AWD and the CTS-V. He thinks the 3.6 won't give him the power he likes...I'm pushing him onto the CTS-V and really hope he goes for it so I can drive it

Thanks, guys, for the comments. Daily-driving the V has been an enjoyable experience other than the abysmal gas mileage. Then again, my RL was a porker as well, with daily driving gas mileage in the 17-18 range. Even so, the RL was one of my favorite cars, ever.
I am still hoping that Acura releases something that will bring me back into the fold. Until then, I have two other Honda products that are not going anywhere soon.

...--The trunk is nice and big and more importantly, the space is well designed. Because the trunk lid uses gas struts attached outside, there is more room inside and is configured well for suitcases. The inner handle is also well-placed so that you pull on that instead of holding the trunk lid to close the trunk. Great feature that I have only seen in SUVs before...
and i liked the inner handle, mine was more of a strap, i liked it untill one day my hand kinda got twisted in it as i was closing the trunk, and thus the trunk fell directly on my wrist, lol
glad you're liking the V, seems like a very sweet car indeed

If you keep it long enough, the V will make a hell of a first car for your son.
Can't believe it's already been a year!

I now drive an accord....
^my 2000 cadillac catera had the same features, makes way more sense than having those huge hinges, and allows the trunk to open 90 degrees or more, i loved that part...i don't know why no other manufacturer does this

Oh, there are updates coming in the next week to 10 days.....just not ready to post about them yet.
Let us just say.....
The car is still solid as a rock other than the minor items noted in my 1-year review a page or two back. Me like! I just passed through 15k miles today. My only regret is that I wish Honda/Acura played the HP game even once in a while.

2.55" supercharger pulley, intake, and tune done a few weeks ago. Now at 544 whp, a gain of 70 whp. With the intake, I can now hear the supercharger. I have wheels coming next week.
Pics:
This is one of my actual wheels before shipping:
Video of a freeway onramp "launch", done with good equipment (HD camera, good mic, Stickypod) and followed by ambient sound at freeway speed and analysis of gas mileage:

FI cars and their easy power from bolt-ons... 544 rwhp!
wish I was at home or had earphones instead of listening to my phone's crappy speakerphone. Still, from what I can hear it sounds quite a bit more audible than before.
Enjoy it Bob. Sounds like she's not giving you any problems as of late? Knock on wood

Forgot to mention: CHEAP bolt-ons.
Pulley: $150. Intake: $350. new, quieter supercharger isolator: $70.
All parts + install and dyno tune together: a little over $700
Price to get 70 whp in my S2000: $5000-$7000 for supercharger + install. (I planned this, then scrapped the plan. My S is still stock, and will likely remain so.)
God bless American muscle and LS engines!
Edit: spelling errors

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
Love it Bob..... Keep the reviews coming. If proven reliable, I may forego an E55 AMG for a V that is a few years old.
