I know you already have a dedicated summer/fun car, but have you thought of getting a winter beater just to drive in the snow. If it were my car, that thing would never know what snow looks like. Hell my car now doesn't know what snow looks like and its just a TL. I would be afraid of some dum-dum not knowing how to drive and wreck into me.

Great looking car BTW, exactly how I would've ordered it.

Bob, is the nav/audio/screen interface the same from your other V? The one thing I hated about my wife's SRX screen (and it was a bit different/better than the CTS interface) is how it's all set up. In the CTS, it didn't seem as intuitive as the SRX, but I still didn't like either of them much. Or is CUE now installed?

Same as in the old V. Cue will not be installed at all in the current CTS/CTS-V, even though it's the last year. The navi is just OK and is something I miss from my Acura days. I think GM should just let Honda or Ford do their navi programming, as both are far superior.

Congratulations neuronbob, there's nothing I can say that hasn't been said. Count your blessings and wish you many motoring memories with your wagon!

On a side note, any forum insiders know if Cadillac is planning on making an ATS-V? I saw an ATS displayed at the local mall and it looks tits..if they built a V it'd sell and would make a great daily.

I personally hope they make an ATS-V and a XTS-V

Cadillac's entire line up just looks great (Escalade aside.)

And Bob....F YOU on that Vagon...its the only car I MIGHT consider giving up my Challenger for.

ATS-V is coming. At multiple Cadillac events members of the Cadillac Owners board have asked Cadi staff members whether the ATS-V is coming, and instead of saying "no", the typical answer is veiled hints. The presumed power plant is a TT V6, though one can never rule out a small-block V8.

It is coming, though if it keeps with the CTS-V release scheduled, it will be next model year or the year after.

don't give up the Chally yet! Yours is gorgeous.

2012 6MTs with low miles can be had for $55-60k. A few used 2011s are available on Autotrader now for low-mid $50's. The vast majority are black or red, so if you want those colors, go git ya some V wagon goodness.

I started by looking for used 6MT Vagons and finally gave up after I lost out on a very nice one at a good price, TWICE. Grrrrrrrrr. Still chaps my butt. All that were left at that point were black and red, which i was not interested in. My primary solace is that by ordering, and getting a good deal in doing so, I only paid a few more $k for new as opposed to a used Vagon.

way to make NSXNEXT feel worse, LOL.

Mods upcoming:
Xpel Ultimate clear bra coming Thursday, and tint coming Friday.
Exhaust coming in about 2 weeks.

My latest acquisition.

I drive to the train and the airport so a new car just doesn't make financial sense right now.

Time for a watch thread. NICE green sapphire Submariner there. 10-12 of those cost the same as my V wagon.

Nice collection, I recently got a winder after having owned 3 automatic watches for over a year .. It's time to get something new, although all of them are nice some of them are redundant; you need something sporty, classy and yet everyday wearable
get this so I can live vicariously through you

Updates:

Clear bra. Done.
Tint. Done.
Exhaust. Done yesterday. OMG it sounds good. Sounds just like the video I posted in post #685:

Only the video doesn't do full justice the the depth and awesomeness of the new sound.

Intake. Will try to put on tomorrow.

Invisicord for V1. Need to buy Infiniti model with micro plugs as mine with wide plugs won't fit.

New pics and maybe video coming soon. Been a long two weeks at work, been super-busy. Yes Imma tease.

As promised, pics and video.

Xpel Ultimate clear bra on partial hood, front bumper/fenders, headlights, side mirrors, rocker panels, rear bumper sides and top. With this blue, you can barely see it. The claim to fame for this updated Xpel is that it actually has a layer of clear coat, which helps it to last longer and to shine better with proper care (and in my case, Zaino). A couple of example shots:

Tint--Madico nonmetallic tint 50% (added to 70% stock windows), total effect is 35%. Just enough to look cool, not enough to get pulled over by the police. I'd like it a little darker but don't want to be harassed.

Intake--KPE/Airaid

Exhaust--Stainless Works CTS-V Wagon exhaust. Stainless Works is based in Chagrin Falls, OH and is only 20 minutes from my house. I drove to their facility for install. They used my V to make an install video that should be on their site soon. It looks and sounds pretty good.

One of my long-ass exhaust videos showing some revs, external shots while moving, and interior sound while moving. Shorter than usual, this time, though.

I hit 1000 miles on Friday just after leaving Stainless Works. Only 500 more miles of break-in left for the engine! Can't rev past 4k rpm until then. Sigh.

BTW, I delivered an SRX the other day with the new CUE system. It's going to take a bit of getting used to. Can't say I loved it though...

They need to fix a few things about CUE before I can say more positive things about it. The user interface is a little, no, a LOT quirky. They need to hire someone from Apple to help them get it right, especially if they are trying to emulate tablet functionality as they say they are.

I agree. There were times where you would touch what you want and nothing happens, and then again there are times where it seems waaaay too sensitive. I think it was a big mistake to put gloss black everywhere, because all you see are fingerprints all over the place.

Few pics:

I'm now at just under 2500 miles in just over two months in the Vagon. I am daily driving it, even during the worst winter storms. With the Blizzaks, this thing just goes and goes and goes. No slips, no skids, no getting stuck. It is simply awesome.

I can't stop driving it! I took the little one to downtown Cleveland yesterday for Monster Jam. iPhone 5 pic on the top of the Progressive Field parking garage.

From a couple weeks ago during our last winter blast. Video coming from my GoPro.

SO JEALOUS of that wagon...so hot.

My mom has had 3 gens of the Lexus RX....They are picking up a black ice/black SRX performance model with both Driver's packages and V style chrome wheels next weekend from their dealer in Medina.

I dont think Ive seen my dad so excited to get a new car before...And they have been Lexus loyal for the last 20 years (he'll still have his IS250AWD)
