Need Help Deciding

A while back I sold my 04 TSX and bought an 06 Mercedes CLS500. The Benz has so many problems with it that I am thinking of selling it or trading it in if I get a good or even decent price for the Benz. At this point Im over it

I am looking for an Acura again and I also want to save money for other things instead of having such an expensive new car. I have been looking at Certified Pre-Owned TL's with less than 15,000 miles. Most of them are listed from $25,995-$26,995 and range from mileage of 5,700-15,300. The best deal so far was a 2008 TL Base in Royal Blue with Parchment interior and only 9,500 miles for $25,995. Im not much for dark colors because of the fact that they are harder to keep clean. I also think I could bring the price down a little more. One other choice I had that peaked my interest was a Certified Pre-Owned 2006 RSX Type-S in Blaze Orange with Ebony interior with 22,000 miles listed for $19,000. I know I could get this price down some also and I would also save an extra $6,000+. I know the two choices are quite different but I wanted to get some input.

Thanks in advance to everyone

Get a BMW (E46) M3 off of eBay for the same price of the TL.

TL.
The RSX is going to sound awfully loud inside, and probably feel slow, after the CLS.

Voted TL as well.

New 08 base TL's are going for around $27,500-$28,000 in case you didn't know.... so if the 08 you're looking at isn't the right color, consider going new.

Ive searched for a TL Type-S but they are all priced close to $30,000 and have over 20,000 miles. I also just found a base 07 TL that is located in Orlando which has 15,000 and is $23,995. Does this sound like a good deal?

Acura TL-S! Search in other states as well if you're willing to make the trip there...don't stay in your area code.

Have you looked at 06 330i or G35s?

I was also thinking you could probably pick up a nice pre-owned GS... like 2006 or 2007 depending on the miles.

I voted for the TL, I had an 05 RSX-S in Vivid Blue Pearl (just as much an attention getter as orange) and I traded it in for my TL because it was too small, handled badly in poor weather, was way to easy to modify and go fast. I got in a lot of trouble with that car. If you can behave then get it. $19k is way too much for that car. They are like 22k new.

You may be able to get an 05 RL as well for that price, search around. If you are going to get a base TL at least try to find one loaded.

It might be just me, but I think RSX type-s has such a horrible ride.... extremely bumpy and loud.

Id go with the TL. I test drove a RSX once and it was pretty bumpy and loud, especially if your coming from a Mercedes.

It is, not that it's built poorly, but it's built like a sports coupe so it's rough and harsh but performs very well. It's a great car to build how you want, make fast for weekends and have a more comfortable car for everyday use.

From having a lot of family that has benz's the higher the number the more problems they have....(but the more they cost ) I would seroiusly consider looking for a AMG type maybe a C32 or CLK430 (thats only if you want to still own a benz... but if you want a TL diff look into getting a Type S!!!

I say the TL as well, after you drive the RSX for a while, you will be wishing you had the TL.
