Need Azine approval on an ad for RJ in Super Street...
Just need some opinions on this ad I'm running in the Buyers Guide from Super Street Magazine. I know it looks kinda full, but that was the look I was gfoing for, sorta like a Honda and Acura collage. Tried to incorporate all the wheels and parts we provide to Honda and Acura vehicles. Some pics were shot at the RJ meet a few months back with the intent of making this ad. Opinions?

Interesting. It is busy. No doubt. I think it works.
And the white TL with your grill and wheels is very nice......

I would focus on your strongest photos or the parts you're trying to push the most. Get their attention with those and let them find out more by visiting your site. I like the blue Accord and the TL/TSX photo. I'd incorporate those into the bulk of the page and then possibly use a list to display all the models that you support. I do like the header with your logo, the text and all the wheels. Nice start.

Save for the blue (and possibly gray (upper left)) TSX, the pictures are all bland. They look like the owner's snap shots where there should be pro-caliber work. I would hire a pro to shoot some quality pictures or better yet, pay for my airplane ticket and I'll do it for free lol!

Put Leo's red RL in front, it is HOT.
Other than that, while a busy ad, it is effective in showing the wheels you are trying to sell. About time you advertised somewhere!
Put the name of the wheels in the pics, too, and in the pix of the grilles, say they are replacement grilles, so people know you sell those too.
Off topic: is it just me, or is that white 4G TL hot too?

That's a great idea and as much as I love seeing a pic of my car in the ad, I think the pic of the black 3g tl and my silver 3g tl should be replaced. You could see some of the people standing in the background and I don't think that's very professional. Maybe Photoshop them out?

I actually like that he included pics of what the rims look like on the cars. Most of the people want to see what the rims look like on their car. (why else would tire rack and the others have a configurator)There's a good variety of rims and most popular acuras to modify are pictured.

Whats up with RDX owners?

I havent read Super Street in years, but are they still working on EGs and the like? Im just wondering if theres much of a market for luxury wheels in an import magazine of Super Streets ilk.

I'm going to rework it a bit and simplify, I tend to go crazy on the first draft then clean up afterwards.
BTW, it's the Super street buyers guide, on the racki for like 3 months, more like a directory than a regular magazine. Pretty popular.
Thansk for the feedback guys. And thansk for catching that typo, lol.

A couple things, first as mentioned earlier try choosing the highest quality pictures, even if that means shooting new ones.
Second, are you sure that the readers of the Super Street directory are the crowd that would buy those wheels or even have an Acura or Honda. Most of the people I tend to think that pick up those directories are Evo and Sti owners. Not sure if that magazine may target your niche crowd.

off to a good start!
for me when i flip through a magazine, the more the ad has in it, the longer I look at it. If i owned an acura, id flip the page, see your ad, scroll through every single picture, meaning i'd be on your ad for a while, know your name and decide if i want them.
my point is that busy one-page ads can be good, so i wouldn't take too much out of it. but good luck to you, hope the phone rings off the hook with this ad!

I don't like the last sentence "Ronjon wheels solves the problems associated with universal wheels". I don't see your wheels as a universal wheel, but a premium Acura/Honda wheel. It reminds me of a universal lug wheel with an adapter. The whole add looks good!

Better, but I think you should spread out the text a bit more, instead of one small-font paragraph at the top. And try to cut down on the wording. Get right to the point.
I would also cut down on the number of owner taken photos. All the photos are great, but the ones that are to be shown in a magazine should be 100% professionally done.
I'd get rid of the top pic of the red RL and black 4G, as well as the black and silver 3g pic. Get rid of the second from bottom, on the right NBP 2G TSX or 4G TL.
Bring out the pic of the grey 2G TSX and your car more, they're the best examples.
I'd suggest registering on Honda forums and calling together NY Honda RJ owners for a photoshoot. Bring a professional photographer if you can, or a very skilled forum photographer. That way, you can attract the Honda crowd more, and get some much-needed publicity in that area
I know my post sounds critical, but it's still a good-looking ad. I'm just trying to give you as many suggestions as possible

Like the new ad much better.
This may be very odd... but what jumps out at me is how dirty most of the tires are. I know, I know... silly. But if all pics were from a professional shoot... the tires would be glossed to hell. Anyway to photoshop that? I think it would make the shots look more professional.
Other then that... looks good to me.

I agree, all the pictures look like they were taken with a point and shoot....i'd hire a pro-photographer, gather up the best models and do a real photo shoot displaying your product.

Dump the CL from the ad.
It's old...almost 10 years old, a fish out of water compared to the other cars in the ad...not to mention...how many people still own a CL?!?!?

Maybe pay some honda owners from a few different forums to put your wheels on their cars just for a shoot and hire a pro photographer. I think you may end up with a few new customers just from having them see your wheels on their cars. Might help you break into the honda side of the business a little more. IDK.

New add is great, only recommendation is getting rid of the picture where you see the two people in the back round. (The one with the Silver and NBP 3G TL).

IMO I'd keep it, it looks better than the majority of the other cars in the ad, especially considering its age, and as Rondog's personal car it has pretty much everything RJ has to offer on it.

The sizzle in the Steak
^^ Although it might look nice....it's dated in that add.
All the other cars are either current, or 1 gen back.
From a marketing standpoint it's just really odd for the ad.
However, if one can say there is a boat load of CL owners out there, and the CL is a goldmine for the business, then keep it in the ad.
