Need Acurazine Expertise

Looking to purchase a 2007 Audi A6 or a 2007 Infiniti M35. ANyone know about either of these two cars? Looking for info on reliability, lonjevity, stuff like that. I have driven both, the Audi drives a little better, while the Infiniti rides better. I'm having a tough decision picking one.

Both are White with Tan interior. Mileage is very similiar. around 30K.

The A6 is certainly a sweet car, but if reliability and longevity outweigh fit/finish/handling, you're probably better off with the Infiniti. Not to say this particular A6 couldn't be a peach and the M35 a lemon, but on average, Infiniti's reliability definitely trumps Audi's.

This is it in a nutshell really. Personally, my choice would be the Audi.

HOWEVER,

My choice would not be the Audi if I was somehow prevented from buying the absolute best FACTORY extended warranty I could get my hands on. Audis are complicated cars....and German....therefore they do tend to fry various parts more than Infinitis plus it is oftentimes colossally more expensive to buy those parts.

In conclusion, if you don't have the $$$ to warrantize that Audi from the occasional brutal repair bill, I like you as a future Infiniti owner.

I'd personally get the A6, but as TheMirror said, get an extended warranty.

Thanks for all the replies. Yall pretty much confirmed my thoughts. The infiniti is going to be more reliable, less to maintain, and probably last longer. Looks like the M35 will be my next car. I'll post pics once bought. (hopefully by the weekend )

The M35 give you alot more car for the money IMO. Its got mega room, a strong engine with a great exhaust note, a creamy ride but with some agility, and more standard features than the Audi. Oh and it won't break every couple thousand miles. Only thing I didn't like too much was the dash design...
