My thoughts on a TSX loaner
I took my 2002 TL in because there was a rattle in the door. The dealer kept the car for 2 days and I got to drive a 2004 TSX as a loaner. The TSX I was loaned was a dark grey with a grey leather interior and an automatic trans. This model did not have the NAV system.
Overall I thought the TSX was a good car and seemed to be a good value. The 4 banger engine was the only drawback. It is rated at 200 horses but felt like 150. I was testing the limits of this car and could not even squeel the tires. It kind of disappointed me because I thought it would have more of a spirited engine. At high rpms, like freeway driving, the power was adequate. But I guess that's the way all Honda 4 cyl engines are desinged.
The options, design, value, and drivability are great in my opinion. It is a lot smaller looking in person. From the pictures it looks like a big car, but in person it looks about the size of a 4 door civic. Interior room was great. 4 grown adults can comfortably fit in it.
My wife really likes it. She wrecked her Mazda 6. A garbage truck hit her. So we are looking for a replacement and the TSX is at the top of her list.
