Careful... My girlfriend started driving her 93 Eclipse that was garaged for 7 years. Since her dad is a mechanic he replaced pretty much everything.

Be sure to watch out for rust in the gas tank... check your pump and filters to make sure that junk is clean...

WOW that's highway robbery for that car. You can easily sell some the mods for that price. I am not a fan of the GT, but would die for a Coupe in that condition for that price.

you should wetsand and polish that headlamp up. give it a nice crystal shine to it so that it would go well with that near mint condition body

interior looks clean as well. where's the engine pics??

novus 3 step plastic polish. you dont have to go this crazy, but for the best renewing results, this is the way to go!
http://www.noscratch.com/novus

it'll make the finest of scratchest come out. once you use this stuff after wetsanding, it'll look like there's no headlamp lens cover at all!! you just see the bulbs and the reflections inside the headlamp!

or if you dont want to go for the whole 3 step kit, you can go for the plexus plastic cleaner.

http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/

this stuff is the lazy way to get the clearest and best results without going all out. you use it like windex. spray on, wipe off with soft cloth. once you do that, it cleans, polishes, and then leaves a nice protectant layer over the plastic. its like the 3 step thing, but all in one easy spray.

and btw that is a clean ass motor for a car thats as old as that.. definitly nice

here are the results

the lens part is so clear that it just reflects anything.. plus when you look directly into my headlamp it looks like there's no lens there.

dont mind the scratches around the headlamp though, someone tried to steal my headlamp a few years ago.

oyeah forgot to mention. i have a 99TL. which means its nearing its 8th year now. before i wetsanded and polished it, it looked like your mustang's, except not as bad. but look at it now! almost looks as if i bought it brand new. or even better than new!
