Nice looking bike! I like the color as well. Might be joining the duc family myself with a 1000 Multistrada.

I hate you!!! I was in the works to get a 998 a few years back... then reality hit and I got a TSX. Evidently infants aren't permitted on the back of motorcycles.

Seriously, I'm sure kids are great (I have 1 niece).........but to each their own.

Sweet bike, but what made you get that one. Is it the look or the name? I ask this because that bike is brand new and is already dated and slow. I mean the bike doesn’t even have radial mounted front brakes.

I suggest getting the getting the 999r after giving this one a good beating.

A little from column a and a little from column b . I liked the look more than anything else. It's a Ducati so you don't really see too many on the road (well around here at least) and that was a factor. The matte black finish looks awesome to me. I am not a 20yr old kid who was looking to race everything in sight. If that were the case, I could have bought a GSX-R 1000 or any of the other Japanese liter bikes and had a go at it. I bought it because I wanted it. It is more bike than I'll ever need/use. It's plenty fast for me. Puts a grin on my face from ear to ear every time I ride it. Everytime I ride it, people ask about it. Gets way more attention than any Jap bike.

It may not have radial mounted brakes but they are brembo's and, believe me, they stop just fine . The dealership did have a 999r in stock, but it was $27,000. This one was only $9500 ($3K off sticker). The new 1098 is right around the corner anyway.

Thanks for all the compliments!!

Beautiful.

Even though I've never riden, I've always like that bike, and the color is

I'd take that for $9,500 anyday...

Great choice and, above all, ride safe!
