My new favorite car..

2011 550i xDrive, Dark Graphite Metallic/Black Leather - Customer wanted the Oyster/Black interior but this was the only car out there with the options he wanted: Premium 2, Cold Weather, Convenience, M Sport Package, Carbon Fiber Lip Spoiler, among other options. $76,325 MSRP. You don't want to know what it leases for.

I'm in love. Seriously. I really don't know how the car mags think an A6 is better than this car.

Clean. Any pictures of the interior?

I didn't know they went for that much money.

I remember a member went from a 4g to a 550i and his lease was 1k/month. Must be a bit more for this I'm guessing. Very nice car!!

Yep, sounds about right. 535i would've run us around $900/month.

I thought the styling of the new 5 was a letdown until I sat in one. At that moment, all was forgiven.

Damn.... it's freakin gorgeous. For some reason I really love the rear and the profile of the new 5, even though I'm not a fan of its size. Still, amazing car.

Interior pics for sure. I definitely like the new 5 series. I have been seeing lots of them around Charlotte. Sometimes I will see even 2-3 of them a day already.

Not a fan of the exterior of the new 5, especially the front end. That lip kit with the 550(I think) helps a bit, but still meh. I'm sure it's an entirely different story on the inside, though.

I was going to come in here and post pics of the new 5 series as being my new favorite care. Funny that we both had the same car in mind.

these arent as common on the road as they should be...by FAR. yet, this has been praised as one of the best 5-ers yet. theres definitely an interest in the car, yet none on the street. so there must be pricing issues or leasing issues.

1. the 5 pricing is really pushing beyond its middle-tier boundary into the highest luxury segment, i.e. A8/S-Class/XJ/LS territory.

2. based on some of the quotes ive heard, the option to lease is not a smart one. thats like getting knocked down in the first round for beamer. and who the hell wants to buy a 5er with up to a 75k sticker. you could get much more roomier luxo sedans for that.

they better do something quick to make this car more obtainable.

The F10's styling has not quite grown on me yet so, I'm still partial to the E60. But that's pretty much how I felt when BMW transitioned from the E39 to the E60.

Shoofin has his own independent dealership that deals with both new and used cars, I think.

I still think the E39 was the best looking 5 series platform, though the E60 has grown on me some. Dinan E39 M5 though...

me if you will, but the F10 looks kinda bland. I've seen them in person and there is slight improvement, but the exterior kinda melts into the landscape to me (interior's hawt, though). Besides, it looks too much like a 3. Maybe when the LCI upgrades come, it'll improve, but for now...
E60 550i LCI on the other hand...

Still looks ULGY to me...both exterior n interior! Too bland, front still looks like a tadpole n back is out of proportion with the taillights. The A6 is really starting to look better and better compared to these new E and 5.

Yes, I sell used cars and broker new cars..I only have a used car license, so I can't directly sell a new car. I can only broker them through a franchise dealer. NYS law prohibits new car dealer licenses unless you are a franchise, sucks..

I too have fallen head over heels for this car. Saw it in person at the detroit auto show in January, looks like the same exact car almost.

Because it has xDrive. BMW xDrive cars get raised suspension. Same RWD 550i would have half the wheel gap.
