Yes, It is single cam but its just for a beater. I'm getting rid of my MB. At that point I will get rid of this to find a cleaner car and do a B20Vtec swap.

It's maybe because you're still relatively young, but the day I drove the E500, I came out very impressed. The torque was addicting, the comfort legendary, a true benz that left me envious of its owner!IMHO, the luxury level doesn't even come class to a 5series. I haven't seen spyshots of the future CLKs but personally I'd be more attracted towards the CLS55/E55 AMGs models

Keep in mind it is un-tuned. I did play keep up with a 335 sedan one day. I was stuck to his bumper. He was DEFINATELY trying. I saw some blowby come out of his tail pipes. I had to let him go at 85. I'm not one of those reckless ricer drivers (usually).

Dont get me wrong it is an awesome car. The best in the world. Anyone that says there are problems with these cars are idiots! It is a DREAM for long trips. The comfort/luxery is top knotch. The only thing that they need to work on is electronics. If their navi/electronics were as updated as acura's they would be perfection. Their integration with other systems is better though (read: ipod adapter/bluetooth phones etc). All that stuff works much better than my 04 TL did.
AMGs are too expensive and overkill for me. Plus, there is no discount so I cant afford it. The cls550 is another option. It is more expensive though. I get a discount but its still ALOT of money. I dont want to be a slave to a car payment. Also, I'm young so a sporty coupe suits me. It will have the same comfort/safety and power of the e-class but will be much sexier imo.
