As a graduating present to myself for completing my MBA by 2009, I am treating myself to this...enough said!!

And it's supposed to remind you of the 1st gen Camaros....
The early 70's split bumper Camaros are one of my favorite looking cars....

Aside from my current 00 TL, my favorite car ownership of all time was my 1997 Camaro Z28, optioned exactly as I wanted, leather t-tops, auto (boo to the wife!), 3.23 rear end, and the LT1 V8. It was literally a fresh off the showroom floor experience. Ahhhh....my saying back then was that it was like having my own amusement partk ride...I still kick myself for getting rid of it in favor of a 2000 Altima (damn those offspring!)
If the new Camaro is essentially the 06 GTO in a sexier body, you'll enjoy it. However I hear it's being built on a new GM platform, so even better.

I don't know why. I like later model Camaros, even the IROCs. I knew everyone would be but I guess its just a byproduct of my resistance to the new retro styling fad.
I've always liked the Cuda and Challenger. Maybe I'm just a Mopar fanboy deep down inside.

2009 Nissan Skyline GTR
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
2009 Acura NSX
2008 Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione
2008 Audi A5
2008 BMW M3
2008 Dodge Challenger
2008 Lexus IS-F
Of course, the Camaro would probably be the cheapest of this bunch next to the Challenger
