synth...I think most of those were at 1/400ths. Thanks for the suggestion.
You need to be shooting closer to the speed of the car to get better wheel motion. General rule of thumb, if car is traveling 60mph, shoot @ 1/60 and work your way up a bit, maybe up to 1/90 or so. But 1/400 is wayyyyy to high of a shutter speed.

Thanks for the tip!

I looked at some of the exif info from the photos at Sebring over the weekend. Their exposures varied quite a bit.

Shoot in shutter priority and let the camera pick an aperture

i'm no photog, but my friend always tell me having proper follow through for motion shots is critical especially when you start working at the relatively lower shutter speeds.

a) Nice pics, thanks for sharing! That looks like a great time even to spectate.

b) Thanks for the tips on shooting moving cars, this noob appreciates and will apply them immediately.

c) The guy driving the CTS-V (the Patriot Missile) occasionally hangs on the V forums. Pretty cool guy and it's great to see a V used in one of the ways it was intended.

d) Stickers=sponsors. Sponsors=more hp since they are paying for said hp. Therefore, stickers=hp.

I love that he tracks it! I have a new found respect for S2000s on the track. I always knew what they were capable of, but seeing it in person is cool.

As my first post, let me say, I love the car. After seeing those add on flares, I don't think I could own an S2000 without those.
