The rear looks like a Mercury Cougar and the interiors
I mean, the dash looks like it's two stories high, the instrument cluster is like they took the bottom of a trash can and cut it out, painted it grey and used that. The steering wheel looks... well... flat. Round speakers on the door look like they belong on a Sentra. The rugs & floor mats should have been a darker color IMO. The rear side mirrors suffer from the same thing as the 2001/2 CL-S where the bottom is black rubber/plastic instead of being color-matched.
The body color is pretty sweet though!

the problem with the exterior to me is that its too plain.... esp after the B-C pillar. There are no shoulders under it to add a bit aggressive look like our CLs.... and the huge rear doesnt help much.
I'm sure it stands out in the crowd tho
tell ur dad to stay away from this board if he cares for other ppl's opinions

I don't like the interior at all -- hate the sedan but the coupe looks great, imo.

well it looks great imo... Nissan interior designers should take some lessons from Audi. If you've seen the TT interior it's absolutely beautiful. Same goes for the CL though, some more interior accnets would be nice. The G35C is a nice looking car besides it's interior, what a shame to have an auto tranny on there when a 6sp is offered...

A friend and myself went to go look at it yesterday, they had a Red/black one in the showroom loaded (MSRP was over $37k). Had the spoiler, 18'in wheels, Nav, etc.......overall its a fairly nice car, but the interior was less than stellar (as I expected it would be).
The seats are very nice, but the rest of it wasn't that great. When you opt for the 18'in wheel package, you get the silver center console which I think looks like shit. The interior just seemed a bit out of step for a $35k+ car. The trunk is extremely small, but the rear seats do fold.
Red is definitely "not" the color for this car, the black one outside looked much better.
Anyway, they didn't have a 6spd to drive.....so I passed.
Would this be my next car? Going by my first thorough inspection, probably not.

Those cars look totally hot IMO. Give it a nice drop and slap some wheels on it, then you'd be good to go. If I were in the market for a sporty coupe, the g35 coupe would be at the top of my list.

This car is going to put the CL-S in the grave, sorry. It drives like a 350Z 2+2, it is that real. The interior blows, but they had to cut the cost somewhere. This is an outstanding coupe. Shame the rest of Infiniti's lineup sucks like the interior.
