My friend is selling his 2001 TransAm WS6 900whp/8 sec 1/4 mile

This has been his baby for the past 5 years...I don't know if many of you are TransAm fans but this certainly is tempting as a toy to have.

2001 trans am ws6
black leather
black exterior

exterior:

Id give the exterior a 8.9/10 there are defanitly blemishes/imperfections but the car is almost 12-13yrs old and its not a trailer queen. some of the blemishes include, passenger side rear quarter, small "crease" above the wheel well, it isnt small, but if ur not looking for it, it almost looks like a body line. i didnt even notice it for a few months when i bought the car. rear bumper has a couple blemishes, nothing that couldnt be buffed out of tuched up. and only thing other than that is the front bumper and headlight covers have some chips from road debris/bugs.

interior:

id give the interior a 9/10. the only wear relly is on the drivers sieat, back part. its worn but the previous owner put the patch stuff on it so its not gotten any worse and theres no frays or anything. back seats r perfect and passenger seat is near perfect. center console lid is "expanding and coming unglued like usual. door panels have the usual cracks by the windows.

drivetrain:

i will attemp to hit everything. motor is an ironblock 5.3(pre04). and it contains the following:

everythng is polished
has griffin radiator that is polished
twin 1400cfm 10 zirgo fans
custom polished radiator piping
silicone couplers on the radiator hoses
new waterpump
stock alt
powersteering, it doesnt have the pump on it bc my pump went bad, but u can put one on if u want.
wastegate has a 9# spring in it for break in
i think that about covers the kit

fuel system:

walbro 255 intank

-10 from the pumps to the rails, nothing less, no restrictions.
aeromotive boost refrenced reguator
-10 to each rail

only stock suspension left is front upper arms bc theyre lighter, and spidles

reason for selling the car:

in the past 6 months i have spent atleast 11k on this car. and i am tired of spending money lol. i know i will never get back what i spent on this thing. but i am dne spending. other financial situations are keeping me from finishing it. i will give an honest list of what will be needed to finish the car:

map sensor- the 3 bar that i bought off here was dead, there is a stock map in it to start it and drive it, starts and idles fine.
This is now fixed, has a brand new FAST 3 bar.

tune- ive just tuned the car so it will idle good and be able to move it around
car is tuned up to 5 psi now, i have driven it quite a bit.

trans cooler fan- i had it wired but it was back feeding, so its still wired just has the fuse pulled. trans got to 140* so far and thts it.
fixed the wiring, its all hooked up and ready, trans sets at about
155* when driving.

only issue with the car at the moment is sometimes it will get a little bit warm. after driving for about half hor. doesnt do it if its

other than that, i cant think of much else, it will need an oil change once it breaks in more. i got the filter for it.
car will make ALOT of power once its fully tuned ect. its on pump gas at the moment, but with pump/meth or racegas, itd be a high 8sec car after getting some 15" wheels on it and dialing in the suspension.

price at the moment is 18k to reproduce this, itd easily cost 28-32k

trans alone was 2800
converter cost 1900
motor is 3500
turbo kit would cost u an easy 6-7k
rearend 2200
all the suspension is about 3k
price is negotiable, and im accepting offers, hard to put a price on this thing.

not a single part on this thing was skimped on, its all top of the line!!!

T/A has been one of my dream cars for many many years now. I would still love one of those but I'd rather make my own project.

Hope he finds a good buyer for it that'd appreciate it.

Might get better response after edit and repost. Difficult guessing words and meanings.
