Going from evo to an mdx is like going from a perfect 10 model to the girl that works midnight shift at your local wendy's. All I ask is, wtf were you thinking?

 

However! it did go through 3 transmission in 6,000 miles

Hell, 2 years and I still miss my CL. But I don't miss all the trips to the dealership.

 

When you and the service manager are on a first name basis its not a good sign. I think I will get back into one sometime in the future.

 

Not sure I would get back into another one though.

 

Well it is a fun car and i loveeee the way it looks. As far as a CL-S? Hm don't know. Got rid of the TL and never looked back. Nice car and all just not something I would buy two of.

how do you like the Evo X?

 

I test drove one and almost bought it but i think they are still asking too much for my budget. It really depends on what you are looking for. The X is definitely a watered down version of the VIII and IX.

I'll wait til the MDX is almost paid off then might have to pull the trigger. That still gives me a year or two.

 

my buddy with an ams built evo had the same problem. even with a built up tranny it would still blow...

I'm sure I've seen you on I-95 south, I live near Stamford and I used to cruise up and down 95 often, it was fun just driving up and down I-95 for a cruise even when gas was $4.00/gal, I can't do it now that the TL lease was up. The worst part now is the fact that they brought down the black Chargers with the standard plates, so it's impossible to distinguish them from ordinary Chargers.

The biggest distinguishing factor is the dark tints and the antenna in the rear, other than that, no dead giveaways, except for the dual exhaust. That's why everytime I see someone in a Charger I'm cautious.

 

I loved that body EVO way more than the new body EVO. It's sick. I know you miss your EVO

 

The rear-end on that Evo is slick!
