My car is sandwiched

I was involved in a four car pileup last weekend on my way to vegas. The van in front of me slammed its brakes to avoid hitting a slowed down car. i tried to stop, but there was no way i was going to avoid hitting the van..traffic was going 70-75..i slammed into the van, then i get hit by the car behind me..that car also got hit from behind..the damage is not bad for the type of impact..there is no frame damage, no leaks..no one was hurt..the car still drives the same..my insurance is going to come look at my car tomorrow..do u think it will be a total loss??if not, how much $$$ for repair??im already looking at new cars..what should i do??thanks

Damages seem to be minor, can't give you any estimantes but like Timmy said no way it's going to be totaled, glad you were okay though.

^ don't let the damages fool you. My Civic got rear ended and when they lifted up the cover for the spare tire well, the whole underside/frame of the car was crumpled up. That's where the car absorbed all the impact.

Not a total, but you are definitely at fault.

yea well it could be a total loss like phile said but if ur frame is not damaged, then its not a totalled car... its actually not that bad.. im suprised due to the rate (speed) of impact.. but its all good.. hope ur alrite bro..

LOL no where near being totaled!
I'm guessing $3-5k.
You're 23. Save the money you were thinking about from a new car and get ready to spend it on insurance payments instead.
Sorry to hear about this, it's always a really fucking pain in the ass. Just don't let it stress you out... shit happens.

Considering the speed you and other cars were going at, I'm surprised the car held up so well.

Shouldn't be too much to fix it.

just eyeballing it i'd say there's 3-4 grand in damages. that's paint, labor, tax everything to get it back where she was prior to accident.
that's going to a excellent shop to. NOOOOOO WAY they'll total your ride.
