I run Solo 2 in my S2K. I guess my days are over pretty soon.... although, if I really miss it I may do a prepared car like an old CRX or something

 

The tires that come with the RSX are crap anyways. He would be doing himself a favor by wearing them out

 

Why are you selling your S2000? Too bad you live so far away because we're looking at replacing the CL with one.

I oklahoma, a convertible just isn't practical. Our streets suck so the ride is a bit much too. I LOVE the car and will miss it a lot. I decided to get rid of it and my legend and save for a couple of years for a BMW M5 or 6 Series or whatever cool comes along.

 

Jake, which service person did you order your CL-S from? I had Russ Klarens.

 

Scooter, is that one gonna be at Nassau? If so, and if there's no PCA event at the same time, I'll definitely be there with the WRX.

Jake, sorry to hear that you can't live with your S2000, it's one hell of a car, but yeah, it's not the most practical of cars.

 

Ive gone to AutoX events in New Yorks Mohawk-Hudson region. Any of you go to those? What bout dude from Ithaca?

The guys at Acura of Tulsa are a little clueless. They didn't even know that blue existed and so wouldn't order it for me. In fact they didn't know how the process worked at all. They seem to think that cars just show up...like the stork comes and drops off cars and they have no say on when / what color they will be.

I really tried to buy from Russ (nice guy) actually but he to this day kept insisting that the Blue was not available on the CL-S. I will not buy a car off of a lot so I really needed to order. I finally gave up and ordered a car from Bob Howard in OKC. They have kept me up to date on everything from their original allocation and order process to the actual build date (next week). They said they will call me when they have the VIN in a week or so and expect me to be able to pic up the car around 3 weeks from now.

I've been to 4-5 events in the last year in FL. Looking forward to the next one to see what my new Kumhos do.

 

Sorry, the MoHud events are rather far for me, especially when there's a Glen Region or SNY event at the same time.

Thats what my sales guy is telling me. It is scheduled to be built next week. He indicated that the only changes for next year that he knew about were a small change to the front grill and tail lights. I guess that I will have one of the first 2002's around.

 

i'm organizing a CL-TL meet at the races while at the same time race my car (anyone else is welcome to race their's) in the races...like a combo thing...we're planning to have a nice setup with snacks and stuff...im posting directions momentarily.

 

Cool, a bunch of us iClub guys should be there too.
