Well it's been quite a long time since I've updated this.
Might as well bring everyone up to speed.
First off, I'm in the process of swapping a J32a2 and a 6MT Accord trans into this car. Got most of my parts here, just need a few loose parts like bolts and gaskets.
Car has been through about 3 different sets of wheels since my last post. TSX wheels, HFP R7's and now my current Rotiform Nue's.
Figured I'd update this, since I'm going to be scrolling though for sale posts for leads and researching the J32 more.
But here's some pictures.

Well, the J32 is in the car and its now running under its own power. Still need to figure out why it will not go over two grand while driving or revving.
But the swap breakdown:
J32a2 CL Type S Motor
--J37 Manifold with P2R Spacer to J32a2 Throttle Body
----J35 Top Plate
7th Gen Accord V6 Manual Transmission
Manual CL Type S Engine Harness
Manual CL Type S ECU
--Matching ignition cylinder and key
CL Type S Shifter and Cables
Much more included, but these are the bigger items
OEM Spec Clutch and Flywheel

I really like this Accord too, it just chaps me that the V6 only came in auto. The 7G solved that, making it my favorite. Maybe a bit bloated but the interior is a step up from the 6G.
OP is doing it right, though. He's building the Accord we could never buy... and it looks fantastic!

Car looks great

Auto will all the manual bits such as the front cam gear, lower crank gear, sensors, etc
I'll look into that, cant hurt. But I found a thread on here with multiple having my exact same issue and all of them say the crankshaft position sensor. Also got a code for that, so cant hurt to check that out. Doing that shortly. Limp mode for this swap is usually 5k rev limit, no vtec, no speedo, etc...
I've got a speedo, tach, etc, so thats why I don't think its limp mode yet. I wont be surprised if it is after I get done with this, but its better than doing 45 in 6th.
Yea, because of the faint NSX resemblance for the rear-end. I hear that all the time for this car. I think it's my favorite design too, but I'm biased lol. I've owned two lol
Thanks man! I really appreciate that! They would of sold much more of these if they came V6 6MT from the factory. 7Gs are nice, but finding a V6 6MT in good shape is getting harder too. I've been looking around for one as another build, but I think I've settled on a CLS6 at the moment. Interior gets better with the leather in the 7th Gen for sure.
I've heard time and time again that is the worst trans to be produced by Honda/Acura. I pulled my original J30 and auto with 225k with no rebuilds on either and had absolutely no issues from the engine or trans. They were reliable tanks for me. I bought the car at 159k and I never once changed that trans fluid or anything. I was waiting to for it to give out in the end before it went down. I couldn't get it to die. And I tried lol.
Thanks man. Most apprieciated!! I'll post some more pictures here shortly.

I won"t be surprised if this is an issue after I get done with the issue I'm having now, but I don't think limp mode is 2k rev limit. I've been told multiple times its 5k. Bt we will see. Hopefully it's not an issue with the trans mismatched, because if it is, its either find a type S trans or go standlaone. Both of these options are not cheap either. I know people have done J32 6MT's with the 7th Gen AV6 6MT trans, but most, if not all, of them have Richie's harness or probably something designed by RPM systems.

Worked on the car to try to figure out the issues. Started by taking all the timing covers off, then the crank sensor. Tested the sensor and the wiring harness to the sensor, and they are both fine. Did find a bit of dirt in there, so cleaned that up. Also I had been told that the auto and manual front cam gear is different. When I looked at them last time, they looked identical. I decided to pull it off to see if it really was different, and it was. The auto one has lobes that the cam sensor reads that are sharpish and not very wide, whereas the manual one has bigger surface areas on these lobes, so it can get a better reading. But everything back in time, (all while in the car, fun times) and will test the car tomorrow or Friday and see if that fixes my issues. If this doesn't work, next step is TPS and then if that doesnt work, looks like I will need a standalone.

Yes, it is a manual gear now. Trans I know will most likely cause limp mode, but this doesnt seem like limp mode. I've driven J-series in limp mode and thats a rev limit of 5k. I won't be suprised that once its stops doing the whole rev to only 2k thing, it only revs to 5k. Right now, to keep that trans, I'd most likely need a standalone. Trying to save for that right now

Well its only been three years since I updated this, and I am avoiding engineering homework, so I might as well update it. A lot has changed.
1st off, limp mode was the issue due to the car not having the 2nd crank sensor, on the trans, that the ECU needs. So to fix that, I went with a V4 Richie's module. I wired that in, and got the car to the auto limp mode of 5k, no vtec, etc....
Then figured out the wiring and got the module running properly. Now, the car is on AEM. Found a great deal, so now figuring out a good tune for that. As for the appearance, the car really has not changed since 2015/2016. Still Rotiforms, but I've gathered quite a few more parts as well.
Now that I have learned more about the J Series, looking into doing a hybrid build. Stuck between going Type S J35a3, or just doing some J37 rotating assembly stuff, when I find an engine. Who knows.
Also picked up an 05 TL 6MT for a daily. Looking to modify that, but I may as well make a thread for that.
Other than that, the car is still around, just has went through a lot of changes in the past 3 years.

If I had to go back to the 7G, it would definitely 06-07 EX-L 6-6. ...and I'd probably lean towards a non-navi model then get an aftermarket HU with Apple CarPlay.

Few and far between to see these in good condition and modified at that anymore. Appreciate the love
Appreciate it man. 7Gs are nice, but I'm partial to the 3G TL solely for the LSD trans and J32.
Thats what I'd get too, if I got a 7G. But I have been liking the styling of the 7G Coupes here recently too
A few people, maybe. Its honestly not too hard to make this swap a reality. Really what makes the car
