p.s. for a second, I thought you HAD a mustang based on your avatar. Then I saw it was from Need for Speed the movie (I loved the cars in that movie, obviously)
yeah, I wish I had that Shelby. I did have a '94 GT way back when and I loved that freaking car! Actually, love the design of the newer ones and would love to get one, but that will have to wait until I don't have 2 car-seats in the back

Yeah two cars seats = reason I own a Charger instead of a Challenger or 'Stang.

Lol thanks guys.

But yeah, why not just get your toy car then get a daily driver/beater? The kids/family don't ride in the Pony, much.... sometimes, but rarely. I honestly have more fun in it when it's just me. lol.

I drove a 15' mustang on Monday....

I would have bought it, but I can't fit Recaros back there.

UPDATE, 10/14/15. Received the following e-mail from my tuner:

Tune attached!

For:
-98mm MAF
-Provisions for headers
-More tip in response

I want to see an idle log and a cruising log before we do any WOT. You know
the routine

Let me know if you have any questions.

So... as you can imagine, I'm giddy as all hell. Can't wait to get back home to install the actual intake, then load the new tune onto the SCT, then onto the car. I'll be datalogging as well. For some reason, I really enjoy the datalogging part. After 1 or 2 iterations from them, I should really be seeing the power gains too. Will keep y'all posted shortly...

The Mustang barely has a back seat. I want to see someone put 2 Recaro's back there.

Got the install completed and the tune uploaded! The install was obviously not a big issue. I love the fit and finish of the new intake. I had to finagle the driver side PCV hose a bit, but other than that, it was a breeze. I definitely need to get a blue Amsoil or AirRaid Synthamax filter, as the red in my engine bay has no place. :bad: The intake itself I can actually hear with my windows down. I like it.

As for the tune, I first had to flash the car back to stock (for safety reasons - in case something goes wrong with the tuner download/upload files). Then I had to update the firmware of my SCT. It's always nerve-wracking when I do that because I worry of it hanging up and having to contact SCT while I work through the issues. Luckily it went through without a hitch. Firmware was version 6 already, while I had version 1. Amazing what happens over 7 months.

Once the tune was uploaded, I went ahead and started her up and went for a short drive... once everything was warmed up, I obtained the datalogs and e-mailed it to JDM for verification. Then I can really open it up tomorrow, I hope. The new tune is definitely more "lively"... the tip in response is much improved, which I like. I could only drive it minimally, and kept the revs to about 3500 rpm max. I can't wait till they adjust more to dial it in so I can really open her up. I can't imagine when I get my Kooks LTH and cats in!!!

More updates tomorrow or later this week once I hear back from JDM.

Edit: My Roush CAI is now for sale... I'll post it up in the buy/sell section. $125 shipped. The Roush filter itself that you'll be getting is virtually brand new. I swapped it out with an S&B blue right away. Remember, this fits the stock airbox or any blower/FI that uses the stock box.

Depends on the driver

Our ct200h didn't have any driver seat with two car seat in back

Our tsx wagon was acres of space with two seats

Other people say tsx is too small

I have to sit far back when I drive, not super far back but a comfortable far back. My son will be switching to forward facing this month once Recaro sends this damn Recall thing. I'll be swapping him to behind my seat and putting my youngest behind the passenger seat.

^^That is exactly what I did. The rear facing take up so much room and they are typically very bulky. Much better when you can turn it around

recaro baby car seats are junk... Safety wise they are way down the list.

Where do you get your information? Because it's incorrect. Recaro is one of the top baby seats, it's right up there if not past Britax.

I did too... and that's why I now have one. Got it almost 4 years ago, and loved every minute in it.

Btw, I verified WOT runs today, in both 2nd and 3rd. Wow, she really feels like a diff't animal. The throttle response is more immediate without being overbearing. The increased torque is also very addicting. I should be at 575ishwhp right now. I haven't been to the dyno since last year, when I was at 540. So when I get headers next spring? I should be close to 590ish, if not slightly more. Can't wait. Also the new intake allows me to hear it more too. Don't know why. Bigger opening? more air? hmmmm Either way, I love it.

Installed my new Amsoil blue air filter... the gave her a light polish with my Flex/white/gray pads, and CG V36 and 38. Coated with Blackfire then Supernatural. Need to keep her paint perfect and swirl free before storage soon. Then took her out for a drive... Probably my last photoshoot with her this year. I'll just post a few now, then more throughout winter...that way I have something to remember her by. lol. Stupid winter. Enjoy. Kona Blue FTW.

And here's a couple vids of the intake, Corsa idle, and some normal acceleration where I start spinning at 50mph... had to back off. lol.

Many thanks guys... since the new tune and cooler temps, I haven't really gotten the chance to really get on her. The back end lets loose, even at speed. LOL. I need better tires and warmer temps

Received, installed, and tested my new Ultimate Hose Upgrade kit for my Bob's separator. AN Fittings, braided hoses, and heat shrink clamps to go along with my firewall mount.

Much cleaner bay.

Very clean! I've been debating on getting some braided hoses with anodized ends for my catch can. It looks killer in your bay.

Thanks man! Yeah, I figured performance-wise, I'm reaching my limit that I want to go, so when my "mod itch" strikes, I have to go form over function. LOL.

I chose the blue/red AN since I had the blue theme going on in my bay anyways. Another option was black, as usual... but luckily, I think the blue goes good.
