My 2012 Raptor + Updates
Tell you what, when I had my Nissan Titan Pro4X, and went off roading with others, it was fun, but it really sucked bad to clean up the truck and blast the underbody.
All stock including the tires. Had no problems. But this Ford did below...lol. I had to pull him out!! Another truck that tried to pull him snapped his driveshaft.

nice. yeah i fucked up by going in too deep in to the mud
it was messy. other than that it was a lot of fun. one big mistake i made was that i also went in to the previous ruts. but it was under water so I couldnt see.
Im also thinking about rhino lining my flares and bumpers same color as the truck. will have to wait for a couple of months before I can do that. Few other mods in mind also.

Also I wish I could find a little pond like that close by, would help to clean up the under carriage. and you are right. the worst part about this is the clean up.
i'll post a video of how we cleaned up the under carriage last time when it rained. parking lot got full of water and we did high speed drive through and donuts. helped out a lot.

I actually thought it looked cool. Same color as desert sand really. It was a flat tan, like vinyl wrapped all over it I think. There are other colors, but it looked good. It was a 60 year old guy driving it. hehe.
This is how we washed them off the first time...

had it detailed Friday night and couldnt stay away getting dirty again.
Need to come up with a way of keeping the clean up cost down. No body likes touching it either.

Also fried my PS pump last night.

$900 on a power washer?!?!?! You don't have to spend that kind of money to get a simple yet effective one

low PSI washers dont really get the mud out fast. The one that the guy used to clean mine looked very good and it was $900.
truck stayed at high rpms for a long time during for several intervals (going thru long muddy straights) and I think thats where the internals of the pump gave in. Thankfully thats all that was damaged.
OTW to the dealership.
