My 2011 550i pics...

Just wanted to add a few comments about the car:
The exterior is dark graphite metallic (dark grey metallic)....I really like this color! I've had black/black combo on my last 4 cars so I wanted a change this time. The color doesn't seem like a maintanance headache like black and at the same time, not bland like silver.
The interior is called "Oyster".....kinda like Ivory. I prefered a more "bright" and "airy" colored interior this time around. I know keeping it clean will be a headache but I think it makes the interior very luxurious and spacious.
For me, I came to the conclusion that AWD isn't so necessary where I live. Yeah, Chicago can have some brutal winters, but a good set of snow tires will do wonders. (My last 545i had snow tires during the winter and it actually gripped better than my previous X5). Also, AWD will add extra weight and hinder performance. This car has already so many traction and stability control features, I think AWD is totally unnecessary.
Next up: Tinted windows, clearbra

i had the privilege of valeting a previous gen 550. just from the brief few minutes i spent behind the wheel it definitely seemed like an awesome machine. congrats on the purchase and i love the 2011's. enjoy it in good health. to afford a beautiful car like that i'm sure you've earned it
do you still have the tl? or did this replace it? how do they compare (factoring in the difference in cost) in terms of performance and features?

Looks great, I've always really liked that gunmetal color. The F10 is great, I can't imagine how that twin-turbo V8 feels. I've been in a turbocharged V8 before, but I don't it was as silky smooth as your TT V8 is.
