I must say, pretty damn good for a Honda. It held its own the bulk of the race and only lost to cars much more expensive than it. NSX ownz.

Honestly, after that, how can anyone bash the NSX-R? I've had that video as evidence to many doubters of the NSX-R's potential. Most of them replied with "how often are you gonna take your car to the track". Excuses, excuses. Besides, these types of car should be track driven; that's where they're meant to be.

I have alot more respect for the NSX now. They should have included the Enzo and Carrera GT.

Love the comment "Hey old man, I have twice as much power as you"....

Give a hand to the M3 to keep up with the Modena and 911.

Also give a hand to the NSX-R for keeping up with all, it has even less hp than a M3 CSL - plus it only got beaten by the Gallordo and Murcielago during the last lap. My respect for the NSX has only grown further.

BTW MADCAT Awesome video, couldnt take my eyes off the screen. Awesome Find

didn't watch the whole vid...but saw that in BestMotoring when the Gallardo and Murcierlargo first came out.... think it was earlier last year.... pretty impressed with the NSX....

another proof that power isn't everything on any type of road with turns....and just another justification for the NSX's $90k pricetag....... it has been the best mass produced sports car in Japan since it came out and still is.... so when the clueless ppl start bashing on the NSX, just show them the vid

I don't know the specs of the NSX-R, but I think for sure it would have won if it had a supercharger/turbo.

The more I watch that video, the more I get impressed with the M3. I totally figured it would get blown away by the other 5 cars but it more than held its own.

Cool shot...where are the other cars?

LOL!...From the Lambo driver to the NSX driver...

I don't wanna ever have anyone tell me that an NSX with a V6 isn't at least as good as its competition.

The new Z06 Vette would smoke all of that, and you'd have change to get a loaded Accord to boot.

I'm still baffled. The NSX hasn’t changed in over 12 years! Had the rest of the drivers been sand bagging?

the nsx hasnt changed in 10 yrs because it didnt need to change, the car handles superbly and is capable of running 12s with almost half the power than its competitors

I would be curious to see how the Z06 (C5 or C6) would do in this battle.

I kinda wondered that myself, 'cause it does lend itself to entertainment value if the NSX/M3 can run with the exotics.

The NSX-R only has 276.2 bhp! You can get more HP than that at your local Nissan dealer.

No, because on TOP GEAR, they had a race with a TVR, C6, a normal NSX and Porsche....the C6 came last. I'm sure the Z06 will do alittle better, but it'll get murdered in the twisty's.

The point was that the HP is not a major factor in a good car. You need the whole package. You can get more HP with a G35, but you won't get the performance of the NSX-R..

They hate American cars, so it doesnt surprise me to see a Vette finish last in one of their tests.
