muscle cars

Those fire breathing, gas guzzling monsters of old. The Gremlin could go really fast with the AMC Javelin's 401! All that torque in such a little car.

I miss my old AMC Javelin, but I really should have bought an AMX before the musclecar market went thru the roof...

As I get older and my priorities change I find myself purchasing more "responsible" automobiles. The latest an 05 six speed Accord. But a few times each year I back the regular automobiles out of the garage and drive the Buick Grand National out into the sun. Purchased the old girl new and drive it about 500 miles a year. And then I grin like an idiot after the world gets yanked backwards while laying 50 feet of rubber.

New cars are much better than the cars of old. Safer, superior handling, refinement, and better constructed, but the old warrior will ALWAYS have a place in my garage.
