pics didn't work.
pay it all off so you don't have to get collision. That crap is expensive! Full coverage for me was going to be over $2k a year, but I just got liability and uninsured motorist for $500/yr from Progressive. You can get a quote from Progressive.com on the spot and adjust things right there to see how it affects the price, it's pretty cool.

What do I think:
You could probably talk that price down to about 4500 - 4800. From the looks of the rash the owners confidence is probably tarnished. He/She will sell for less if that is the case. For that price range you can find a 600cc bike with no damage. Shop around. And BTW get it inspected by a mechanic before purchasing.
Insurance:
I have 50/100/50 C&C and liability and it is running me about 65 bones a month on a 12 month policy. It will be cheaper when I turn in my motorcycle safety course paperwork. I'm with Farmost Insurance (a Farmers subsidiary).

That's cool, but I still think you can find a more intact bike for the money. BTW, when it gets cold that is the best time to buy a bike. The only thing about that is waiting for the weather to change will eat you up because you'll want to play with your new toy so bad.

well i have bad news, i cant get the bike because my bank want full coverage and no insurance company want to give it to me. i went to nationwide ans they told me they cover sports bike at all. i was showed the list. then i tried kemper and i was told i need to have a driving record of 8 year to get full coverage. and the funny thing is that im one year shy of that. this shit sucks!!!

If possible just get your license and try to buy a bike in full like Danny was saying. That way you can just get liability.......also, don't buy a kyptonite lock....check out my local bike forum...
