7 years ago my dad's friend was killed in Serbia because of his car. He picked up a guy and the guy had a gun on him. Told him to drive him to an address somewhere and then he shot him in the back. The car was a diesel E class, 96-97, not too sure. He left behind 2 young kids and a sick wife who couldnt work. The most terrible thing is that someone paid that guy 500 marks to get the car. (500 marks=250 euros now).

some people just dont value human life, and can take it away without remorse

What a coward. Rather than face the music, he offed himself. And that girl sure is bright. I guess she valued her new relationship over doing what was right.

I didn't see a single interesting comment there. You owe me 30 seconds of my life back. I'm sending Dom over to collect.

No car is worth a life!!!!!!!!!! I still don't understand what he planned to do with a stolen car, keep it hidden and drive it when he could????

I'm glad that trash bag killed himself, one less piece of trash to worry about.

Sad thing is I actually want an EVO and living on the northside of Chicago I'm not THAT far away from Milwaukee either

Unfortunately for you, if you live in Chicago proper, you cannot legally carry a firearm. Here in Virginia, we can do it both open (no permit necessary) or concealed (with permit). One of my "little friends" is always a constant companion in my travels. I will not go quietly into that night.

So to summarize, this chick, had been dating fail-dude for two weeks and in those two weeks she managed to get herself wrapped up in grand theft, aiding and abetting, accomplice to a murder, and subsequently watching the murderer blow his head off in front of her.

Time to take a break from the boys, sweetie.

Sorry, this is not a situation that could have been solved by the addition of another firearm.
Well this is a scenario we will never know in either this instant situation or any other future attack. As for more dead bodies, as long as they are the bodies of perps, that's a good thing.

Look at it this way.

In the final seconds of your life, just before your killer is about to dispatch you to that great eternal darkness, what would you rather have in your hand? A cell phone or a gun?

Too bad the dude killed himself. He would have been a popular fellow in general population.

And the girl. Well, I hope the "lady" inmates treat her well wherever she's going. Look in the background of her pic. Lovely place, eh? Trailer park trash awaiting rescue. Now jail.

Loser

If I come back to the US, I'll try to live in a state with an open carry law. I really do not want someone to try and jack me up, but if they see a .44 hanging off my hip, they might not.

Virginia has no open carry law which means that it is perfectly legal to carry a firearm openly without any permit whatsoever. The fact that there is no such law means that you may exercise your rights as an American. In Virginia, laws tell you what you cannot do.. not what you can do.

As for a .44, there are better choices. I do own a .44 Magnum, and have for may years, but that is not a great choice in defensive weaponry. There is a superb selection of fine armament from from which to chose for personal protection. I would be pleased to give you some info in this subject area.

i seriously understand it. you steal someone's car, then what. you keep the car and risk being pulled over by a police officer to find out its stolen?

or you get the registration and VIN changed? the fuck is the point.

disgusting and sickening.

Once the boyfriend said "... and then I'm going to kill...", why did she not wait until his back was turned and run?

I disagree. Zoellick ended up killing the guy with a knife, not the gun. It probably wasn't loaded or was fake. In that case, Khan having a weapon would have saved his life. Anyone who values their life or the life of their family members should own at least one firearm. You just never know when you are going to have to defend yourself....

This story is disgusting.... yada yada, I agree with everyone.

I was thinking about this weapon controversy and thinking how many people when facing what khan did, tried to overtake the killer. It seems like the 9/11 senario, where if you know someone is most likely going to kill you, do you wait to find out or do something about it.

It seems to me, that if any one of us is in that situation, you must think fast and try to save your life. I mean sh%t, if someone is pointing a gun at me and wants me to be submissive and let them put zip ties on me. Right then, I should try to go for the guy, even if it means I'll get shot. It just isnt worth the risk, how many people get a gun pulled on them and survive?

It is just amazing that this guy thought killing a guy for his car would work out, but then if your sick enough to kill someone you probably dont have the greatest reasoning skills anyway.......but his friends wow! wtf

btw I have had a gun pulled on me and did think fast and got away. It was a car jacking, not cool, but you really have to get in complete survival mode immediately if you want to live. Not that I'm saying this will work all the time, but you gotta try.

When all bets are off. When you are virtually certain you're gonna die. Then you pull out all stops and take your chances to try to live and go home to your family and your life. How might one know this? Frankly, you don't.. at least not for sure. But there is this.

The moment someone pulls a weapon on you, be it a knife or a gun or a baseball bat; if you see an opening and an opportunity, attack fast and hard with extreme prejudice in an effort to curtail your assailant's actions as quickly as you possibly can muster. Show no reservation or hesitation (hesitation has gotten a lot of people killed) and drive your attack home until the perp is in no position to continue his threat. If you are not capable of this response, you do not want to be carrying a firearm. How do you know if you are capable? Only if you have done this before will you really know how you will respond in such a situation. People who tell you that they'd blow someone away if they carjacked them or broke into their home are mostly blowing smoke. Many of them will freeze up and crap their pants if it really happens LIKE RIGHT NOW! So train, condition, and play mental games for these scenarios. And always be aware of your surroundings.

If you carry a firearm for personal protection, you must operate on a higher plain than the general public. Know this and learn the laws of your state. Then never stop learning about the ultimate fear of deadly confrontation.

hmm...so let me get this straight:

a guy wanted a car, so he took his girlfriend whom he met less than 2 weeks ago with him because he needed someone to help tie the owner up so he could kill him to get the car instead of

1) just stealing the car
2) being a normal responsible human being and save up and buy the car

but wait: he doesn't think police will get wind of him driving a big-winged car that belongs to a homicide victim. And when they do, instead of facing the music, he offs himself, eliminating any point that this whole event may have had.

does anyone know if the man was honestly retarded? because who in their right mind would do that?
