Mercedes S430

After many months of looking for a new car my dad finally got one. A S430!! Man that thing has so many features!! 8 cylinders making something like 320hp (correct me if im wrong). I got to drive it the other day and that thing picks up so fast. I love the manumatic feature too, you just put it in drive and tap the shifter to change gears! He used to have a piss yellow 84 turbo diesal Mercedes and he traded that in (got something like 2k for it). The next step up from this car is the S600 which is a V12!!! Anyone know the hp for the S600??

Next step up from S 430 are S500 and S55..... and then the S600 . They are all great cars though.

03-04 has 493 hp.....very fast.

S430 is nice, but I would have stepped up to the S500 as it has much better throttle response (the difference in cost in minimal, especially when you're at the Sclass level).

Then again, coming from an 84 diesel....anything would be better.

You will see a few S65's coming in. They are going to have 610hp and 728 ft/lbs. They are putting that in the S, CL and SL.

They just made the go ahead. Also have you seen the pics for the new SLK 55!!! and C55???
