My Navi system on my 2004 MDX has problems, the screen freezes and cannot be used until the car is turned off and is restarted. This includes any access to the AC controls within the AC/ Info system. Recently it froze in the direction list mode for 50 miles, then we coud finally pul over and restart the car. These failures are random and not linked to atime or mileage factor.

It also no longer provieds a compass or shows icons that I have selected. This is 100% of the time.

Any others with this problem?

 

www.acuramdx.org may have a better answer...but the nav in our mdx hasn't acted up

 

2004 should still be under warranty. Take it in.

My CLS screen used to freeze on black everytime I started the car. They ended up replacing the entire unit.

Get it done now, cost like 1400 dollars

 

my screen began to freeze bad this weekend in my 04TL.... i took the navi-dvd disc out and it had a cloudy film on it... i wiped it on my shirt, put it back in, and it workes fine now...
