These things take time I would imagine. In general, I don't think people are as passionate about their brat movers as they are their cars. I'd love to find a good Montero forum, but haven't yet, probably never will. These guys will get to it though, I'm sure.

We do not, currently, have any plans to bring an MDX or sport utility community to AcuraZine.

Currently, MDX owners have a fine community at www.AcuraMDX.org

Wow, I don't even have to visit their forum to tell what a wonderful community they must have there. That picture says it all

I agree with you above, people who buy MDX's have no passion for performance and handling. We do and thats why we have this forum.

dont be so quick to generalize Madcat

every car has a purpose and intent.

an SUV is great for hauling the rug rats around, or going offroad, or hauling a lot of crap around.

The MDX DOES have performance and handles like a larger car....its actually got some pickup and torque.

(my mom has one..and no its not the one in the picture above)

the MDX users could say the same thing about us:

"TL owners have to passion for utility and adventure"

These MDX's are like the elephant of the Acura world. It may be an HONDA, but still an SUV.

The M55 is a great performer but I understand that it's the worst car MB ever produced in terms of quality.

FX45 and Cayenne Turbo are both faster then the ML55 and both are way cooler then that minivan looking Mercedes ML-class.

My all time fave is the Range Rover, followed by the Mercedes G-Wagon.

When I got my NBP TL in '03, my lady almost went for a matching MDX (that would have been soooo hot). But we wised up financially. I think the MDX is nice and serves its market well.

I've got an '03 MDX I handed down to my wife when I took delivery of new TL. Yes, we transport the rugrats in it, but there is definitely an enthusiast crowd out there with MDX's.
