and while i was trying to get rid of this old tape that dried up and wouldn't come off after using goo gone and lots of other things, i resorted to wetsanding... and out of frustration.. lmao, oops
i polished out all those scratches but that part i got down to the primer.....

NICEEEEEEEEEE
The one that i drove last week looked pretty much the same. It drove like a heaven. I really didn't think I would like the old interiors and whatnot, but it surely didn't matter. I never even noticed the interior much since I was drooling at the driving feel of it.
Can't wait to have one for myself!

the right one on the last picture is stock... that thing was torn in to two pieces for both sides.. can't believe i was driving on them like that and didn't do them sooner.
feels great for 70 duro

Dude great pick up. My friend and I bought a 95 m edition for 1500 as well. We stripped it and we are trying to make it into a track car, we are in need of a tune and moneyz but the turbo is in and it really is as good as everyone says it is the second best handling car I've ever driven. Nothing will ever top an s2000 for me
. Its a raspy son of a bitch but i love the little thing already blew a raditator, but my favorite part...IS THE PUSH BUTTON START, came with the car.

nice! congrats. is it just some random push start?
If you were out here in Cali, i'd tell you to go to Blackbird Fabworx. his work looks really nice but it also comes with the price... theres a few thread of there stuff on clubroadster..
what else are you planning to do with it?

Its the same one that come on an s2k where the cigarette lighter should be. Put in the hard dog roll cage yesterday, the roof is ruined so we might buy a removable hardtop. Otherwise looking into aero dynamic solutions like a spoiler and front splitter, I wish i was in clai would love to tear up laguna seca. Northern VA sucks. We want 300 whp, easier said then done
not to mention you compared it to a car that can be bought for $5-$7k more at bob's used car lot these days.
my car is paid for, modified, and low mileage for its year. its also not a very practical daily driver, hence if were to come across a $1500 beater, i would rather drive that back and fourth to work rather then my project car...

i also have a 944 thats under construction... but i should probably just set it on fire and throw it away b/c its an '87 right

Ironically, I was looking at these recently...was thinking to jump on a little fun convertible to drive around in and enjoy this South Florida weather!
Congrats...don't know why I'm just seeing this thread. I also checked out S2000's but MAN, they are at least 10K more than these miatas. At 1500, you really can't go wrong.

im pretty happy with the robbins.. that zipper imo is pretty useless.. lol
if your hard dog is from the NB, maybe you can look into a NB soft top replacement.

lets me get in much easier and the steering wheel is further forward so my knees have more room.

Well, I don't "care", per se...but my lower back has been killing me lately...and last time I tested getting into an S2000, it was brutal. That said...I was 40 pounds heavier at the time.
AND, I ain't no pu**y...that wouldn't stop me either
Dude...looking at nice RWD roadsters...found a white 07 Porsche Cayman in the low 20's. I'd love one...but obviously...a $1500 toy is different than a $25000 toy.

Sorry for the thread jack but I had a crappy Thanksgiving. I was driving the Miat back from my friends house to mine to pick something up for turkey day because I was missing the manual. As I come onto this awesome twisty road I start to open her up, I get to about 6lbs worth of boost at about half throttle come over this blind hill and there is a squirell in the middle of the road so i go to leisurely go around it and upon coming back into line i feel this weird vibration in the steering wheel and the cars back just drops and I go into a tail spin from which i try to recover I can't in time. I hit a ditch at about 20 and it took me an hour to get it out. It seemed that when coming back into line the tire was torn off the rim into the wheel well locking up the back right tire so it was an unrecoverable slide. What a shitty turkey day. I guess the squirrel had a good one....

Sorry its the only pic I have. But the car is back in my friends garage it started but it scraped the undercarriage on the road. Its sitting on a doughnut waiting for me to beat the fender back in place and check that the engine and tranny and everything are good. Got a long winter ahead now. Now the Tl will have to wait for mods thanks to the Miats.

stiff motor mounts
Really? It's an '03 Accord not a NSX. Drive your car dude; it's one of the most practical cars ever made and you're worried about "keeping the miles off it?"
