I think what you observed was ABS reacting to your braking while going into a turn. Either way, I don't own either car, nor am I a fan of them. One question though, was this the Z with brembo's?

Never backtracked. I already wrote a post about how I didn't backtrack. The skip is there definitely but some people may not be consciously aware of it. I already wrote about that I'm pretty detailed and perceptive, and I can point it out to a passenger like the salesperson who was in the car with me.

Again, it is not ABS. Normally ABS would let you skid to a lesser degree or maybe even prevent skid. Skidding is what typically happens around corners at high speed. But with the 350z, there was a tiny skip.

I think the best possible explanation that someone came up with is that the suspension is stiff and may not give much. I think this is a possible explanation, because it's not like the front suspension buckles. It's very solid. It might be the way energy is transferred to the point of contact with the street.

The tires are Bridgestone RE040 225/45/18. The 350z and RX8 have the same tires and same size. The skip doesn't happen on the RX8.

I never bashed the 350z. My description was very objective and in fact matched fast-TL's link to an article that said almost exactly the same things I said. I had not read that article before. My motive was never to bash the 350z, only to report what I observed personally, not what I read or had heard.

At the same time, my motive was not to prop the RX8, and if you review the first several posts, you will see that.
