"May Contain Up to 10% Ethanol"
I was at the local Exxon gas station filling up and on every pump was a notice, "May Contain Up to 10% Ethanol".
What the crap?

I would like to know what this means for high performance engines, if anything. Tell you what, this may mean 1 less Lamborghini in Dubai.
I just read that this percentage may go to 20

At least you guys don't have to settle for 91 "Premium" piss-gas. I think if I took a leak in one of those gas containers and doused it with some kerosene to give it the scent, then poured it in the tank, my car wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
We can still find a few stations here with out it. I notice a reduction in mileage of roughly 40 or so miles to a tank with the 10% in my TL.
Ethanol is a killer in small engines and marine applications. The store i bought my boat from said boat engine repair is up 600% due to ethanol

Most stations around me are E10, but there are some that have big signs and banners saying "100% real gas, no ethanol." Most of those stations charge an extra 10-20 cents a gallon because of it. I usually fill up at the Shell next to me that has real gas, just plain 91 octane V power.
doesnt the ethanol actually boost octane a bit? A dude i know converted his gnx to run on ethanol and says its about 105-110 octane. I dont really know shit about it and just know that before e10 i got 21 mpg in the city and now i get about 19

All I know is ethanol in our gasoline will lower MPG. That means that while we use ethanol to help wane ourselves off of foriegn oil we still take it in the pocket. I suppose if the money goes to domestic farmers then.... I don't know. I'm on the fence about this one. Especially if the percentage goes to 20. And I'm sure my motorcycle won't like it at all.
Ethanol does boost octane, so it shouldn't hurt any cars.
Ethanol also reduces gas mileage, since it simply contains less latent energy than gas. Not only that, but it is more expensive to make than gas, so it will drive up the cost of gas. And while it will produce less emmisions, it also produces more water, causing your exhaust system to rust out faster.
You want to save the environment? You gotta pay.

On topic there is only one station I know about around here that has no ethenol and they have a big banner advertising it. Its a little more expensive that other stations but I fill up there when I can
Now ... just V-Power in my car when I fill up in Canada. Otherwise, whatever Costco has in their pumps in Michigan.
In either situation, I don't believe there to be ethanol in either (premium) fuel choice.
Yeah the old race track gas stations here used to have 100+ octane at the pumps, but it has been a little while since I have seen it. Also Invisablewar the 7-11s here have those 10% stickers in black not yellow.
