Man sells everything to buy a Lambo and go cross-country

I was curious what the warranty is on a Lamborghini, went to the website couldn't find any info.

Agreed. I would have liquidated all my assets and traveled the US and also the world. It would have made a better story. The irony of this story is that he had a ball and chain in his house which reminded him of his painful break up. He bought a ridiculously expensive car to forget his woes only for it to be a massively expensive paperweight.

i think people don't get what an amazing this country is to travel around in. We go around the whole world when you have so many different regions here. I think it is cool.

Had no idea this was on Azine!
He tried to trade it in and they said it was only worth 40k. He still owes 40k.
It wasn't just about losing the one he loves, he had a rough life.
I got the chance to talk to him about his journey, he's a cool guy!

I can't believe I missed this story the first time around. What an awesome tale.
THIS. I love this country simply because it is so vast and there are so many places to see and do. I prefer road trips to flying for this very reason. I've visited 30 states and hope to get to all of them eventually.
So did all the pieces add up? Even if only 1/2 of the story is really true, this guy has balls of steel.

The timing chain went at 91k
And the ending isn't a bad ending. This guy had money prior to his adventure...and is a business owner/starter so he knows how to make money when he needs it. The story ended with him starting another business and even dating a new girl.
This is an awesome story of freedom and the American dream.

I've talked to him about everyday for the past week or so. He never met a new girl.
That story is about half right, he still owns that house to this day but can't stand it. He hated having to drive 70 miles one way just to get into Dallas when he lived there.

Wow, so he financed $105k on a car he knew he was going to drive into the ground relatively quickly...someone just set off the genius alarm.
He could have taken his $75k and paid cash (or nearly paid cash) for a GT-R and done the same thing if he wanted to go be road warrior in a cool car for awhile. But then again it sounds like this guy does first and thinks later, so why even bother rationalizing or trying to make sense of this story I guess.

I did, that's why I said at least 100K miles for a timing chain
I always question if anyone actually bothers to read the stories...

I love this story, reminds me of my cousin who retired 4 years ago and has visited the 48 continental states and plans to do Alaska this fall and Hawaii in the winter then he has all 50.
Although he and his wife did the 48 with a Ford F350 Turbo Diesel with a custom trailer. At a family reunion he had a a handful of photo albums of the US of places they visited with spending over 2 years around the country. Although no one mistook him for Moby, he looks more like Grizzly Adams

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
Easily.
It's a pretty cool story, but I would have gotten a small RV and just wandered. Cheaper, no hotels, and no where near as fun as the Lambo trip. But that would be me.

The dealers you buy from all have their own little things they throw in to those warranties, as well.
