I have a 98 Integra, and I guess I must have hit my 40,000 mile check up, becuase the maintenance required light went on (started with a flash on start up followed by a steady annoying on while driving). Nothing is partiucarly wrong with the car...In fact, I just got a "check up" back in late April (and didn't drive it much during the summer). The check up didn't really find anything wrong, so I don't think I really need to go back in and get it checked out. Does anyone know how to turn this thing on? It's annoying the hell out of me. Thanks

 

there is a button under the driver side dash. I dont remember the exact procedure but I think you need to hold down the button for 5 seconds or something. Its in the manual.

turn the ignition to the number two position and reach down under the driver side dash on the right side and you will see a little square box with a little button. hold that down for a few seconds and it will shut off.
