Carbon air filters removed
K & N stock filter replacement
Supersprint Headers
Supersprint Cats
Superprint X-Pipe w/ SS Resonator
Supersprint Sport Mufflers
AA Cam ECU Tune
3.91 Dinan Differential
Schrick Kelleners cams (made no power gain on the dyno)
Evosport Pulley
(M6 with mods - 480 whp - about 560-570 hp to the flywheel (M6 Curb Weight - 3,908 lbs.) 7 spd SMG tranmission.
2007 Corvette C6 ZO6 - Completely Stock
(published at 505 flywheel hp - but puts down about 440 whp - which is probably around 530ish flywheel hp)(C6 ZO6 Curb Weight 3132 lbs.) 6 spd manual transmission.
The numbers don't really add up. The difference in power is small compared to the difference in weight. I know the m6 has a pretty short rear end, but even so. And how is the car still capable of such speed with that kind of a diff.

the M v10 engine is really underrated and extremely capable in higher speeds above say 130 mph...Throw in all the mods, smg and you get this result.
at the 38 second mark, that gorgeous white m6 really left him:

My guess is that in this case the SMG was shifting faster.
put the mods that the M6 has on it on the Z06 and there would be no stoping it. my dad has an 01 Z06 and all he did was get the ecu reflashed from chevy and we were doing about 200 MPH coming back from LA. man that was nice at 200 with 3500 RPM's left in sixth gear and still wanting to pull. was just about the single most memerable experience in my life.

01 Z06 with a reflash < 200mph

I agree. That first video is a little fishy, especially compared to the 2nd video. Dude says he gets 190 in the first video, I call BS. It would take him forever to get to 190, that's just the laws of physics. Road and track barely squeezed 190 out of a Murcielago recently, a car that weighs less and outslugs the M6 by 100 lb. ft. of torque.
Compare the two, especially the difference in time from 160 to 180. 7.89 sec in the first video and 15 sec. in the second? Something just don't add up.....

there is no way they hit 190mph. It takes AGES to get up to that speed and far slower than what was shown in that video. Read the latest MotorTrend for an article on how difficult it is to get most car up to speeds like that.
