M5 vs CLS55 (video)

it's all in German, but some great footage nonetheless. Have you ever seen a CLS55 in action?

M5 vs. CLS55

anyone know German? perhaps a translation is in order...

god the CLS looks so smooth and classy compared to the M5... the CLS is like a Great Dane, the M5 is like a rottweiler or mutt lol

I love the CLS. It's so beautiful. The M5, still not a fan of the 5-series design...

Although I wouldn't turn down either car

I would chose the M5 over the CLS55 mainly cause I love how the tranny is... My friend has a 2003 M3 and that SMG tranny is amazing...I love the way it shifts.

to sum it up,

CLS55 has better comfort and leisure.

M5 has better handling and power.

I never thought I would say this but give me the CLS. The M5 has always been one of my favorite cars but this one hasn't grown on me yet.

In general, BMW styling is an acquired taste.....and I'm not too certain I've quite acquired it. But I really want to like it.

Both are sexy ass cars. I would still take the M5 for performance though. and the way that baby handles through the slalom, damn!

I have videos of E55 renntech vs stock E55 as well as a 2001 e55 vs 2002 e55 and 2001 e55 vs modified firebird. 2001/2002 e55 vs GS400 . AC rented out the track friday. E55 stock was running 12.5~12.8 w/ a 113~114 trap. AC's Renntech E55 was running 12.2 and a 12.1 as well w/ a trap of 116mph. those thing haul ass. 2001/2002 E55 (v8 5.5lt) was running mid 13's. Did I mention he already has a CLS55 on order...
