In the US, 2003 540i's with the sport package came with the additonal M items which included front and rear bumpers, M paralled forged 18 inch rims, the M-steering wheel, shadow line trim, M door sills, and a few other smaller things. It wasnt an additional package in the US.

In Canada it was, and this option was available from the factory on 530's, and 540's since 2001.

This is my car below, and the bumpers came with the car from the factory that way except for the splitters, rear roof & rear deck spoilers. So I am not tying to pose ina nyway. Love the 540 as is.

No 5 other than the M5 had the M5 rims. 540i's came with forged M parallel's.

Stock 540 battery bay, and full size spare run right where the M5 exhaust piping runs on the passeneger side. Ive read about 540s putting in a 2nd exhaust, but they all needed an M5 floor pan, or other custom work.

If you google "skyline GT35" = nothing... it comes back without a single website let alone picture of said model...

If you ask any car enthusiat what comes to mind when you say the words "skyline GT"... I can tell you it's not the "infiniti G35 coupe" but rather the GTR...

I still think his car looks amazing...

Ciao

the g35 coupe IS the skyline gt350 in japan. what it isn't, is a skyline gt-r. there is no gt-r model for this generation skyline. and these so called "car enthusiasts" you speak of know nothing. unless they're idiot ricers and only think a skyline is this

That looks sexy! Do you know if BMW sells that front bumper as an OEM part? I'm looking to replace my fugly stock 2000 front bumper and I see too many M5 bumpers on the 540is.

Im having trouble following you. The only difference between my bumper and an M5 bumper is the horizontal slat right below the license plate. 99% of people dont even catch it. Other than that, the 2 bumpers are identical.

I meant M-Technik. Seems like everyone is getting it now.

I really like that one though.
