I don't think the M3 guy heard him say "come on faggot"....the guy's evo windows were half way up and it would be quite hard to hear him from the m3 point of view. te vs A wastegate keeps the pressure in the intake manifold at a specified level. For example you want 12 psi of boost. As your throttle goes up, more exhaust is going to the turbo, spinning it faster. If the turbo makes too much boost, the waste gate will shunt the excess gas directly to the exhaust system.

A blowoff valve does an immediate release of pressure inside the manifold itself. It doesn't have to do with the amount of exhaust gases going to the turbo.

Awesome video. I've raced an sti in my moms M3 and it was a lot closer than that race, but the M3 dominated in 3rd.
The blowoff valve is a shitload louder in shifts than the sti. Anyways those douchebags got freakin owned and they will probably go telling people they got a late start. Even though the M3 got a late start and still worked the shit outta them.

 

Hey, I bet you that his and his son's supras can take that m3.

 

Damn those M3's are fast as hell...I really wish I could afford one - but the work on them isnt worth it IMO.

There was a racing video some time ago where this kid tried to race an M3 in his GST and killed his engine...I need to search for it.

 

i remember that video, i believe the dude in the m3 wasnt even racing, he was in a suit and tie and on the phone.

shes lucky they are known for blowing engines, my friends mom has had 2 engines on her 03 M3. that and the maintanince is really expensive once you get miles on it

that M3 wasnt stock because we have two of them at my work, an 02 w/ SMG, and a 03 stick. i drive them all the time, especially the 03 stick because its that lagua seca blue which is one of the hottest colors on a stock car. but 330 horsepower in that heavy car doesnt equate to the power that that M3 had.
