im planning on powder coating my rims this week, but im not sure what finish i should go with

Gloss black (on a white M3 just like my car) Also my M3 has gloss black hood vents , front grill , side grill ,cf front splitters ,cf roof and cf rear spoiler (all are glossy)

I'd keep it as is as a first choice and semi as a second. Painting them black would hide the wheel design imo which is gorgeous.

This is why glossy will work best for your car. Semi-gloss will look like a mistake.

I would typically say semi, but the rest of your detail pieces you've had done are glossy.

But I don't care for the glossy look of those wheels.


I say keep 'em stock.

 

can i pick non? IMO leave it stock and if you have money to drive an M3 get yourself a set of HRE IFORGED or BBS

I'd say gloss, because semi would only look good if it was 100% clean. Gloss wheels can get a little dirtier and still look decent IMO.

But I'd leave them stock, the white with black accents look is good, but overplayed. If anything, get them painted the same white as your car, and maybe get the calipers painted glossy black?

the calipers are already painted black , but this summer i wanna get a lambo orange BBK , i think it would look really good behind the black rims
