Audi has definitely some problems. Not obvious why.
Acura lost to Lexus and Infiniti. Who would have said this almost 20 years ago.

I thought Infinity has been outselling Acura the last several years. Don't think it's going to change right away through the 3G TL/TSX. It depends on what Acura is gonna do with the 4G coming out later on this year. Just my two cents ...

This just highlights what has been stated over and over in this forum....that Acura is headed in the wrong direction right now. They need better and more exciting product. Basically, they're in the same position that Infiniti was in 6-8 years ago.

In order for the TSX to catch up to the sales of the G, it'd have to surpass sales of the MKZ
![Why Me](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/whyme.gif)
Perhaps you forgot to add the red text to your post. Even with the improvements to the TSX and the TL, I really don't see it making that big of a dent in their losing market share.
![Shrug](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/shrug.gif)
A friggin' lincoln MKZ is selling more than a TSX.

I think the TSX's success may end with the 09 model. Doesn't offer much more than the outgoing model, and the competition has grown. And I can't wait to hear everyone blame it on the grille
when in fact it's the whole package that has become stale.
Where are the little cool things like LED tail lights? Why have the LED turn signals on the side mirrors look like they came off of a Scion tC, instead of being like the old model? And close to 30K and only a single CD player? The 6-disc changer is part of an optional package?!

I think that a new TL/TSX will reverse the downward trend. Will it "fix" Acura? Of course not, but it will be a helluva lot better than trying to sell two models that are 4 years old.

Honda Fanboy
Infiniti is doing fantastic. As much as I love Honda and Acura, I am glad to see Infiniti finally living up to its potential. Their latest cars are fantastic and will only improve by the years. This is the best their lineup has ever been.
As for Acura, I'm 100% positive that they will still outsell Infiniti when it comes to full-year sales. Acura's lineup is currently in a TERRIBLE position. It has two cars that are in it's 5th model year and another that is in it's 4th model year. Even with everything going against them though, sales are still respectable. We all know that the Tier One cars from Acura are supposed to start rolling in after the debut of the NSX in 2010. Starting at that time and continuing for a few years beyond, Acura will have a totally different face. Until then, Acura has the new TSX and TL to ride off of. I'm not putting any faith in the MMC RL. Sales of the new TSX and TL should be good enough to keep Acura stable until 2010.
P.S.
Senneca01, your numbers for BMW are incorrect. 1SICKLEX copy and pasted your post and posted it on ClubLexus and someone had to school him on it since he wasn't capable of doing it himself. We seriously need to ban that fanboys IP.

re:Jag XF
yes they are on sale.
probably the Jag dealerships just got maybe 3-4 (guessing) XFs in per dealership.
put one on the showroom floor, couple out on the lots and the ones out on the lots are for "demos" aka test drives.

It's really too bad, because I was just about set on buying a diesel TSX. Now I'll have to see what diesel prices do in the next couple of years.
