The swap was performed by Action Auto Care Performance. All interior guages performed as if the F20 was still in place.

I doubt they took time to engineer the 9" to work well with the chassis. Offset weight balance aside, how well does it handle? Pretty damn cool nonetheless

Because its a short wheelbase oversteery car to begin with.....and that's with less than 170 lb-ft. of torque. It gives me the willies too.

I wonder how the chassis is holding up to the torque. I know the subframe rails are huge on the S2k but I don't see a cage (or at least I can't through the tint) and that's a lot of power!

Id rock that! The motor still sits behind the front axle line so its not really throwing the weight dist off that bad.

If you can put a 5.0L Ford V8 in a 1st Gen Miata why can't they put a LS2 in a much, much better S2000?

Well they sure can put one in a S2000, of course remembering that those old monster Miatas were a huge handful to drive as well.....

Damn, I bet that video does the sound no justice even in HQ. Goosebumps..... sounds a lot better than stock IMO! Screw F/I on an F20. I don't know if there's room down there but twins on an LSx = win.

Sounds great; however, there's just something off about American V8 sound coming from a Japanese car. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept here, but it just comes across as odd.

this makes absolutely zero sense...ruins the entire concept of the car!

yeah i could see how gearheads could call this badass, but it just does not feel right, is not drivable, and if they wanted to go all-motor, what was wrong with I4 240 hp with bolts on...the power to weight ratio was good enough to begin with

and when i heard that sound coming from an S2000, i just said "i dont get it"

Makes all sorts of sense. The car was a underpowered no torque car. Now its neither. Id take this setup any day over what it had.
