I shall resurrect this thread...

Keith... how is the car in rain/snow?

I want to get the car, I'm in love with the S packge, but RWD factor is killing me... Advice?

P.S. nico/m forums are soooooo dead.

Who cares it's RWD, get it and enjoy it in the summer! Get some snow tires and your golden. Besides, if you are in love with it, even if he says it is terrible you will get it

My Genesis coupe is RWD I figure if I slap on some Blizzak LM-60s I'll work out okay.

It's funny how we are so afraid to have a rwd car these days.

I wish there were a car that I was totally in love with. rwd or not, I'd get it, and buy some good winter tires on some cheap rims that I wouldn't care of they get abused.

Buy the car you want.

Snow tires, man!

If I can drive my 544 whp V on winter tires in the snow, you should be able to handle the RWD M. This car has stability control and when you combine that with winter tires, you will do as well or better than FWD cars and even some AWD cars that keep their all-season rubber.

I recently drove a G37S with snow tires on the factory 19"s for a week in 6" of snow. Absolutely no issues what-so-ever...

If you live in an area like NY I don't see why RWD is an issue. You should have snow tires on for probably all of winter, no?

Really, the only time you should be worried about AWD is when you live in an area that has no snow whatsoever but you travel to go skiing/snowboarding. Only then is it impractical to buy snow tires.

Yep, If I decide to go with what I want, then those tires will definitely do it. But 280 a pop? anything cheaper for 20".. sheesh.
