In my possible pursuit for a Lexus IS300 I stumbled upon this.

I thought I read about this in one of the car magazines at some point over the last few months. Talking about how Lexus wanted a car to compete with the M3.

 

I wouldn't want a IS500.
here's why don't get me wrong Lexus builds great quality cars. However, IMHO they're not "driver cars." it will have some stability control that you can't turn off. or some stupid bell or chirp when you push the car to hard it will keep dinging or chirping.

The M3 is for sure a drivers car. It wants to be driven hard. also for 50+ grand I better be able to throw that beast into the corner with out it raising hell.

the silver one is something about a IS500.
does that IS400 mean they're gonna put a big ass v-6 back in the IS chassis?
