Let the modding begin!

I just ordered H&R Race Springs (1.6" front, 1.5" Rear), Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber Plates, Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subframe Connectors, Fiore Clutch Quadrant and Firewall Adjuster, and a Claddisc Designs Concepts Style Bar.

Then in June I get the 2.93 supercharger pulley, and a professional tune.

The car goes in on Wed. the 21st of March and I pick it up the night of the 23rd. There is a guy by me that everyone swears by....I called a month in advance to get him to work on my car. He does one car at a time...and he is a fanatic.

It will be good. The subframes really do wonders to stiffen up the chassis on American Muscle.

Everyone on svtperformance.com said that I don't ave to change anything else if I do H&R Race Springs...if I did H&R Super Sports (2" drop...even more if you remove the isolaters), then I'd have to change other stuff.

I'd say the guys are wrong. H&R races have a pretty agressive spring rating, your shocks will blow in no time. Been there done that

Might as well do it all in one shot

Seirously?
I'm just gonna do the swap because I can't afford to do it all at once. Remember, the Cobra isn't the daily driver....but I guess if the struts go...it would be time for coil-overs!

No matter what everyone says on there, it is a known fact that any drop with a higher spring rate will cause your shocks to blow prematurely. I would think about doing shocks and struts while you are already doing your springs or wait until you can get some.

I couldn't stand how harsh my CL was w/ H&R race + konis.

but then again CL != Mustang. and I was running my konis on the lower perch too.

it would definately be best to do the dampers at the same time though.

In all honesty, if you are thinking coilovers, then hold off on the springs. I've been modding cars a long time and have learned, do it once and do it right (hence why I haven't lowered the GTO, i'm saving up for the 2K it's gonna cost for KW V3's)

doing just springs knowing you'll need shocks a few months down the road, or want to convert to coilovers in the future would be a waste. Not only are you wasting money on the springs and most importantly install/alignment, etc.
