Largest Car Part Companies
Hi all,
I am working on a school project and wanted some insight from you car guys.
Can you throw out some of the the biggest companies in each category?
Brakes, Light bulbs, car care (armor all), shocks (bilstein), oil/filter, engine parts like water pumps alternators etc. Basically the parts that are most commonly consumed and purchased that you find at auto stores.
Thanks guys feel free to give any tips on who owns the companies or where they are headquartered.

Almost everything electrical: Bosch
Filters: Wix
Seals/Gaskets: Beck Arnley
Emissions/fuel: Airtex
Air filters allegedly are the #1 most purchased "modification" to a car, by that I mean a non-OEM replacement part.
Most common parts sold in automotive stores from my experience were probably oil, air, and fuel filters followed by seals and gaskets.
