Unhappy just test drove a heavily modded s2000

It was an 2003 S2000. With 20k in mods .... They exhaust was SO FUCKING LOUD. I have the worst headache. It drove just like a gocart.

I was contemplating trading my TL for it ... it was fast but NO THANKS.

It had (among others):

super charger
after cooler
inner cooler
tien flex w/ edfc
all kinds of guages
NX dry nos system

etc etc etc

would be a great just for fun/track car. That thing is def not a daily driver.

Oh here is the link:

http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...t=75&cardist=0

It was so fast/loud that I was too scared to take it over 6500 rpm. I was afraid of the sound at WOT.

Wait. You only took it up to 6500 rpm? You didn't even get to really feel the VTEC kick in. The high cam turns over at 6000. You barely let the boost start to boil. You think it was quick? Wait until you see what supercharged S2Ks are like when you let it rip all the way to the 9K redline.

well I prob got closer to 8k but thats where I let off. It was so fucking loud you wouldn't believe!!!!!!

But yes, there really wasnt much power before that. I was thinking to myself ... My TL feels faster than this (before hitting VTEC).

I said 6500 before bc thats when I was actually watching the TACH. I know I got much higher than that. The charger sounded niiiice. although, I could not hear it tgat well due to that terrible exhaust. And that suspension was rediculous. Made me think twice about putting TIEN SS on my TL!

I wouldn't mind having it as a track/weekend ride.
