There is an M roadster and M coupe. I'm assuming your talking about the coupe here.
These have been out for a number of months now. Have yet to see one (or recognize one) on the road, but I saw tons of dealers that had them over the summer.
Supposed to be fun little cars. M3 engine in a smaller, lighter chassis. Although apparently they are a bit more of a brutish car than a percision automobile such as an M3.

Don't forget acceleration isn't soley based on HP and weight, but gearing. That .02 final difference in gearing might not sound like much, but its whats in between that counts.
Who knows what the real figures are though. BMW is known for underrating there engines and acceleration times. The best indication to what they really can run is to look at track times from drivers.

I saw a M roadster last night. Drove by it actually. Same boring BMW silver though. He dared not pass me at 65(limit is 50) Must be the big old cop spot light on my Explorer. (I have that problem)

Last I remember it was 315hp for the M roadster/coupe (the old ones 2001-2003). Did they finally bring the power up on the newer M roadster/coupe editions?

The Z4 is fugly. Seriously, the front of the Z4 (even the M coupe) looks like some kind of catfish. This was posted in a lexus forum.
Other than that, I think the rear end is nice though. It reminds me of a girl that you'd do doggie style all night to avoid seeing her face.
