Ditch those XXRs asap. Megan coils are alright but id save to replace those too.
Some oem wheels or cheaper enkeis would look great and not break the bank!

You picked your color, that was it. And until the 2008 model year, there was nothing else to worry about. That's when the Club Racer model arrived.

Some one said it, your #1 expenditure should be on good tires.
More AP1s in the graveyard due to inexperienced drivers and/or bad tires (bald or inappropriate all seasons)
Then look at getting it set up for whatever you plan to do with it.
And get on S2ki post haste

I hope it works out for him cheaply and quickly. Irony is that I came very close to picking up an AP1 (2000) about two weeks ago, with 58k and an $8500 asking price. However, with that mileage and price it didn't "vibe" right to me.
