well i have to say goodbye to my 01 CL-S soon and since they are gone, i ordered a 04 silver TL auto non nav, was gonna get the stick but decided against it (lots of town driving) i saw a ton of silver TL's at the dealer for the past few months, and wouldn't you know when i want one, they are out? its supposed to be here on the 25th or possbily sooner

i already ordered the factory spoiler for the decklid (small lip one not the stand up) i'm anxious to get it and try out the xm radio plus it being a new car it will have the ooh and ahh for a few months, first thing i have to do is zaino it up and install some acura-cl.com decals on it

i've been away for a while, but not by choice, been super busy at work, and even more busy with graphics, but i want to try to visit the board a little more and maybe make up some more desktops if i ever get some free moments

i used to visit the board here and there at work, but besides being busy they are monitoring our "internet" habits so i'll wait until i get home to stop by

 

Congrats!!! Awesome car. 2 of my friends just got new TL's and it's an outstanding car. I like the decklid spoiler, as the other one is too big and messes up the lines of the car.

i didn't really comparison shop, i like acura's plus i work were we sell them (even though i work in mercedes department) the c class (while nice) doesn't compare to the TL if i was looking at a benz it would have to be a E500, but its alot more than a TL, i thought about BMW but the ones in the same price range are underpowered compared to the TL - this is my 3rd acura (1998 CL3.0 - 2001 CL-S) and i like what you get for the money - i thought about a starmark CLK430 but with winter in the northeast i would rather have front wheel drive. i'm not much of a suv person so it came down to good deal, good value. plus the bonus of nice styling and power, i drove the TSX and it was ok, but not much of a difference on a lease. so in the end, the TL was a good decision

I was debating trading on a newer Acura but want a stick (gunshy with the slush box).

 

I didn't know TL is selling like hot cake.

 

TL just topped the charts this model year. Acura sold approximately 4500 TL/TL-S in model year 2003, and the '04 TL has already sold over 10,000, I believe.

I think they sold more than 4500 TL/TL-S in 2003. My VIN is in the 41K region and it's an October 2002 build date.
