....innocenti mini

http://www.inno-mini-world.com/

This has been one of my favorite cars since I was a kid, and when I came to work today a co-worker had one a friend of his is selling. Man what a kick this thing is, it's amazing how well these things handle, they just GRAB the road. All it needs is a dohc vtec motor

suprisingly, w/ a little room to spare. if it was my car i'd move the brackets back a little bit, but you'd be amazed how much room is in them. You could easily fit two 6'0 guys in the front and drop 2 8-10 year olds in the back seat

Those are pretty rare over here in the states, which makes it cooler then the regular minis... innocenti also made lambretta scooters too..

I've alway been a big fan of the old minis and bmw 2002s...

my aunt won a 2002 on price is right

Suprisingly there is a HUGE cult Mini following out here, there is a show every week that gets about 50-60 of them. And there are probably 2-3 shops in my city alone that work on them. But yea, this is probably the first innocenti i've ever seen; those are SUPER rare.

Glad i'm not the only one that knew what it was

there had to be, that was a big selling point, you could fit the family and the luggage for a weekend trip in one

I've actually seen pictures of 4 adults and luggage in one of them

8 ?? Did he import a bunch of 'em ??

There is a vw bus vendor ( http://www.busdepot.com ) that used to import Fiats if he had room on a container being shipped from europe... If a vehicle is older then 25 y/o it's not that hard to import it into the usa...

The guy that does work on my Trans Am has an old school mini with a turbo H22 motor. That thing is a beast.

'you sure it's an h22? That'd be a real real tough fit, the B-series are hard enough, and IMO it'd be real real real stupid to put an h22 in one; WAY to heavy.

B-series swaps are common, but a turbo one would be nuts, that's be WAY to much power though; i've seen turbo gsxr motors in one or two from europe though.

I saw one a couple weeks ago when I was sitting at my favorite cigar shop. I think they were taking it to the Ferarri dealearship to trade it in.

side note:I personally like the new Mini Cooper S with the John Cooper Works package. I drove one once. it's a stout little guy. I haven't driven a 05 RSX-S but I'd say it would give the RSX-S a workout.

i think the reason for the inside being bigger than expected is because the doors and interior molding is so thin that it is almost nonexistant.

the new beetle is actually pretty damn big inside and has a shitload of headroom, even though it seems deceiving
